Critical Financial Assistance offered by Operation Homefront's Pacific Northwest Office
Provides emergency financial assistance for documented needs of post 9/11 service members who have been wounded or are currently deployed. Limited assistance available for active duty service members.
Provides critical financial assistance for military families.
Examples of financial assistance include:
- Car repair
- Essential home items
- Rent or mortgage
- Utilities
- Dental
- Food
- Moving
- Emergency travel & transportation
- Eyeglasses
Must be able to show that financial resources are insufficient to meet current expenses, and that those expenses are already due or past due.
Can provide only emergency food assistance and eyeglasses to individuals in the general eligibility group.

Recovery & Emergency Financial Assistance for Musicians offered at MusiCares Foundation
Provides financial assistance and addiction recovery services for musicians and others with at least five years professional experience in the music industry or credited contribution to six commercially released recordings or videos.
Provides emergency financial assistance to musicians and recording industry professionals in times of need.
Assistance grants may be applied to medical and dental expenses, such as doctor/dentist/hospital bills, prescriptions, addiction recovery treatment, psychotherapy and treatment for chronic illnesses.
Assistance may also be provided for emergency rent and utility payments.
Also provides addiction recovery services and support and referrals to other appropriate agencies.

Patient and Family Services offered at National Children's Cancer Society
Provides financial assistance to children with cancer and their families. Transportation fund covers transportation expenses such as mileage, airfare and lodging when a child needs to stay near the hospital for treatment. Emergency Fund provides $300/year in assistance.
Provides financial assistance to children with cancer and their families through a Transportation Assistance Fund and an Emergency Assistance Fund.
Transportation Assistance Fund:
Covers transportation expenses such as mileage, airfare and lodging when a child needs to stay near the hospital for treatment and nonprofit lodging is unavailable.
Emergency Assistance Fund:
Provides $300/year in emergency assistance to families who have a child that has been inpatient or away from home for 15 consecutive days within the past three months. Assistance may be used for mortgage, rent, utility payments, childcare, health insurance premiums, car expenses, or treatment-related expenses (e.g., meals away from home, prescriptions, and parking). Subject to change depending on available funding.
