Meeting times and locations are also updated on the website. Meetings are based on the 12-step program of Alcoholics Anonymous; they provide mutual support so addicts can live one day at a time drug-free. Addiction is viewed as a progressive physical disease, affecting an individual emotionally, mentally and spiritually.
