Graduate students works with adults, children, and teens onmany issues, such as depression, anxiety problems, relationship issues, behavioral problems, adjustment issues, and a host of other problems that individuals and families face. All counseling sessions are held on campus. Counseling for couples and families is available peridocially.

Offers both family and individual therapy for children and families. Helps children and families use their strengths to build resiliency and develop the skills needed for recovery. Wrap Around with Intensive Services (WISe): Provides comprehensive behavioral health services and supports for Medicaid eligible children, adolescents, and transition-aged youth with complex behavioral health needs, and their families. Program uses natural supports (such as family, friends, and religious leaders) and the professionals involved with the family in treatment so that youth can continue to live in their homes and communities.

This program may include psychiatric services including evaluations and medication management which may include Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) and/or Multi-Systemic Therapy (MST). Offers the following: -  Individual Therapy: designed to assist in attaining the goals developed and identified on the service plan. The treatment services are conducted by a mental health professional with individuals and any persons who are natural supports in their lives. -  Family Therapy: services are provided for the direct benefit of an individual, with family members and/or other relevant persons in attendance. Interventions identify and build competencies to strengthen family functions in relationship to the individual’s identified goals. The individual may or may not be present. -  Group Therapy: services are provided to an individual in a group setting to assist them in attaining the goals described in the service plan. There are groups for children, adolescents and adults. Group types include:     *  Support     *  Psycho-education     *  Discussion     *  Growth and Experiential     *  Therapy

Individual child counseling allows each child a safe environment in which to explore and work on issues important to them.   Therapy with adolescents focuses on problem-solving and developing age-appropriate life skills.   Family therapy includes all who are involved in direct care of the child.  Also provides mental health assessments as well as psychiatric evaluation and medication management services.  Brief intensive treatment is available for families who are experiencing an immediate crisis situation. Early Childhood: Works to meet the mental health needs of infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and their families. Offers individual, couples, family, and group counseling and therapy services for people of all ages facing mental health, addiction, and/or relationship challenges. Offers sex therapy and help navigating sexuality and gender identity and transitions. Provides treatment to individuals and families related to problematic internet and gaming behaviors. Compass Health provides a broad continuum of counseling services to individuals who have ongoing mental health issues and need assistance in reducing/managing symptoms and improving coping and daily living skills.  Intensity of services is based upon the needs of the individual.  Individual therapy, community support services, case management, psychiatric medication, and group services are available. Provides specialized services for children, youth and families as well as for older adults.   Dawson Place only serves child victims of sexual or physical abuse and their families.   Not all services offered at all locations. Conexiones offers culturally- and linguistically-specific psychological evaluations and counseling for Latino children and adults. Evaluations are offered for cognitive functioning, attention problems (ADHD), disabilities, autism, and learning problems or disabilities for individuals from kindergarten age to college/university age.

Community-based counseling center provides a wide range of social, psychological, and readjustment services. Readjustment counseling helps veterans make a successful transition from military to civilian life or after a traumatic event experienced in the military. Offers Individual, group, marriage and family counseling as well as referrals and connections to other VA or community benefits and services. Vet Center counselors and outreach staff, many of whom are Veterans themselves, are experienced and prepared to discuss the tragedies of war, loss, grief and transition after trauma. Services for a Veteran may include individual and group counseling in areas such as bereavement, military sexual trauma, Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), alcohol and drug assessment, and suicide prevention referrals.
