Provides support and advocacy for recovery and wellness through scheduled activities and peer support. Services include mental health and wellness support groups, men's and women's support groups, computer classes, support for building resumes and cover letters and completing job applications, and an evening Warm Line for peer support. Services are focused on those in recovery from substance abuse or mental health issues.

Provides various support groups and services in Yakima County. - Women Supporting Women: Provides a support group for all women who are living with cancer, whether newly diagnosed, currently in treatment, or completed cancer surgery and treatment. - Young Women's CANcer Support: Provides group support in the evening for women juggling a cancer diagnosis, treatment, family, work and other demands placed on this unique group of survivors. - Bereavement Support Group: Weekly support group open to anyone who has suffered a loss for any reason.  The members try to collectively help each other through the various stages of grieving and grow through the loss. - Cancer Peer Mentors (Women): Cancer survivors provide support and hope to newly diagnosed women.  Peer Mentors have completed a comprehensive educational program and are available for communication and support. - Crisis Care and Counseling: Offers assistance through staff and volunteers for crisis needs. Helps individuals who are going through a crisis situation by listening, assessing their needs, connecting them to other resources, and providing follow-up support. - Empowerment through Pain - Tools, support & guidance in understanding and living well with chronic pain. - Finding Joy: Classes focus on a variety of philosophies and techniques of self-help to encourage the practice of looking for Joy in everyday life. - Group Grief & Loss Support for Miscarriage or Stillbirth (RTS): Little Wings provides grief and loss support for parents who have lost a child due to miscarriage or stillbirth. - Women's Empowerment Group: Provides a free support group for women experiencing depression, anxiety or just feel stuck in their life. - Trauma Support Group - The group is designed to provide support, encouragement and healing to those who have experienced traumatic events. - Lymphatic Flow Chair Exercise Classes - Cancer Survivor Nutrition - Osteopathic Manipulation: In Partnership with PNWU Scholars Program and Supervised by O.D.s, - Hands That Heal: Reflexology and other techniques to support your mind, body and spirit. - Healing Threads: Group for anyone who wants to spend time with others while working on any needlework project; no experience necessary. The group promotes healing, community service, and connecting with others to end feelings of isolation. - Navigation Services: Provides navigation services to local resources for families and individuals needing assistance—open to anyone. Offers information and referrals to local agencies. - Lending Library: Offers books, videos, audio, and periodicals to anyone seeking information on a particular illness or health topic. - Caregiver Support - Men's Cancer Support Group/Co-Ed Cancer Support Groups will return as demand increases. Community members and professionals wishing to start a group in alignment with Wellness House's mission are welcome to call. - Suicide Survivors Support Group will resume as needed. - Traumatic Brain Injury Support for Patients and Caregivers. - Spanish language support for crisis counseling, the Cancer Care Boutique, and translation services for our other supports.

Peer coaches support individuals in recovery from: - Addiction Issues (chemical/behavioral) - Mental Health Challenges (short/long term diagnosis, grief & loss) - Chronic Illness (HIV/Hep C – Newly Dealing/Newly Diagnosed) Peer coaches are individually matched with people seeking support in their recovery. The matched pair meets for one hour per week for 26 weeks. Coaches are individuals in recovery who have reached long-term stability. Peer Employment Connections Offers weekly peer support groups that support participants to address fears and barriers about returning to work or work through obstacles they are encountering in their job. Offers vocational assessments, job search tools, resume building, interview preparation, coaching, benefits planning, employment-related clothing and transportation support, and ongoing support for job retention. Resource Connections Offers individualized support to identify and access a range of community resources such as housing or medical care. Participants meet one-to-one with a peer to help make the linkages to essential supports.

Specializes in working with those who have experienced trauma and are facing mental health challenges such as anxiety, ADHD, depression, and etc. Services include individual services, family and group therapy, family support services, peer support services, psychiatric medication services, school based therapeutic services, and care coordination.

Facilitates 12-step program support groups and a 24-hour helpline for people who have a desire to stop using drugs. Provides emotional support and peer-in-recovery counseling to help chemically dependent people deal with feelings and share experiences. Recovery literature is available free at meetings. Transportation provided upon advance request if available.

Provides supportive services for people living with HIV/AIDS. Helps people navigating healthcare and drug and alcohol abuse recovery systems.

Confidential no-cost counseling service for Snohomish County seniors, age 60 and older. Trained volunteers (age 55+) meet with clients in the clients' homes, by phone, or virtually on a weekly basis to offer support for such issues as: Caregiver stress, loss of loved ones, coping with chronic pain or illness, managing depression, stress and/or anxiety, isolation from family or friends, and/or other life changes or losses.

Offers emotional support to individuals struggling with life changes and losses.  Participants share similar experiences, receive caring support, offer support to others, make new friends, and learn new ways to cope with life changes, losses and stress.  Group is sponsored and facilitated by Senior Services of Snohomish County.  Group Meeting Time: 2nd and 4th Wednesday of the Month, 10:30 am - 11:30 am

Provides a 12-step program support group where addicts meet regularly to help each other stay clean. It is a non-profit fellowship of men and women for whom drugs have become a major problem. This is a program of complete abstinence from all drugs; the only requirement for membership is a desire to stop using them.

Offers a variety of support groups for LGBTQ youth that provide peer and adult social support and information for youth exploring issues of gender and sexuality.  Groups are located in Seattle as well as Enumclaw, Maple Valley, East Renton, Vashon, Covington, Snoqualmie, South Auburn, Carnation and Lake Forest Park. Support groups are facilitated by adult volunteers.

Offers a confidential space to talk about pregnancy, parenting, abortion, and adoption. Peer Counselors offer judgment-free support at any point before, during, and after pregnancy, regardless of which options the caller is considering.

Provides information regarding meeting times/locations of support groups for drug abusers. Meetings are held at various locations throughout Snohomish County. Clients in crisis can also contact individuals for 12 step call.

Offers confidential veteran peer support through a helpline, email as well as live chat.   Provides help with navigating the military, VA systems and community support agencies. Works to find the best options for the caller and connects them to financial counseling, legal advice or medical services in their local communities.   Peer Support Line is also available to "just to talk", and is staffed entirely by Veterans and family members representing all branches of service.   Also offers follow-up for those with ongoing concerns.

Provides peer counseling, referrals and assistance to Somali and other refugee and immigrant populations. Case managers can assist with filling out immigration and citizenship paperwork, completing housing applications and applications for other benefits including basic food, WIC, SSI/SSDI.   If client requires further assistance, helps them get connected to the appropriate agency. Also provides translation and interpretation and cultural as well as behavioral orientations.

Provides informal peer counseling, information and referral, monthly meetings for local members and adaptive sports programs.

Provides emotional support and information to families of children with developmental disabilities, delays, and ongoing health care needs. Offers an individualized peer support program which matches parents of children with developmental disabilities with trained volunteers who are also parents of children with developmental disabilities, so that they might work together for emotional support and guidance.
