Provides counseling to survivors of intimate partner violence and their children, including individual sessions for children or adults, or family sessions with non-abusing parent and children. Services are focused on addressing trauma impacts and developing coping strategies and fostering healing. Diagnostic and medication management is not part of this program.

Offer trauma processing for survivors of intimate partner violence and their families. This service is for survivors and their children who are ready for therapy after the traumatic events from intimate partner domestic violence.

Provides tailored therapy to children and youth. Offers support for serious mental illness and depression and anxiety as well as the effects of abuse, addiction, behavioral issues, and issues that stem from sexual orientation. Services include: - Individual, family and group therapy - Skill-building and support for behavior change - School-based early prevention and intervention services - Case management and connection to resources Therapy offered on-site, in school, or, in some cases, at home.

DAWN also partners with Sound Mental Health through the Children’s Domestic Violence Response Team (CDVRT) to connect children and their non-abusive parent with individual mental health counseling and resources. This trauma-informed and empowerment-based service is provided by a team of professionals using a wrap-around model to offer integrated advocacy and mental health services, led by the survivor’s assessment of what is needed for their family.

Works alongside adult survivors of intimate partner domestic violence. Offers safety planning, resource referrals, psychoeducation, and supportive listening. Individual advocacy: Domestic Violence Support Advocates are available on an individual basis through walk-in services and appointment-based services. Survivors may walk into the main location and schedule an appointment at the front desk if calling on the phone is not an option. Support group: Domestic Violence Support Advocates facilitate a support group for adult survivors of intimate partner domestic violence each week.

These confidential groups provide a safe, supportive environment to help break down the barriers of isolation and explore the topic of domestic violence. Curriculum is facilitated in each group so each participant has the opportunity to learn, heal, and manage the impact of their experiences. Each person has the opportunity to talk about needs, resources, and participates at a level they feel comfortable with. Child care available during support group for attendees.

Provides domestic violence and sexual assault client advocacy services, including community outreach and education, parent support and skills classes, crime support services, and safety planning for survivors.

Provides comprehensive mental health care to infants, young children, and their families. Works with parents and caregivers, seeking ways to build or repair relationships with their young children. We know that many difficult life circumstances and trauma can impact the ways young children and their caregivers relate with one another. With support, healing can happen, and young children are able to get back on a healthy developmental path and thrive. IECMH therapists strive to facilitate reflective and healing interactions, where children and their important adults learn to relate to others, regulate their emotions, communicate their needs, and navigate day-to-day challenges together. We partner with families to create a support plan specific to their circumstances, values, and culture. Teaches safety plans, conflict resolution skills and self-care methods to children who have witnessed domestic violence through a 10-week program of educational in-home, one-on-one counseling.
