Provides counseling for victims of domestic violence and physical, sexual, or emotional abuse.

Offers domestic violence counseling, safety planning, parenting skills and training, conflict resolution training, family preservation services, relationship counseling, dealing with fear and resentment, victim stance training, referral services for housing, food, clothing, etc.  Victim's Advocacy Program also offered. Includes step by step instruction on how to obtain a restraining order along with contact information for the prosecuting attorney office that can provide legal assistance in assuring safety.

Offer trauma processing for survivors of intimate partner violence and their families. This service is for survivors and their children who are ready for therapy after the traumatic events from intimate partner domestic violence.

Project DVORA works with survivors of domestic violence, specifically intimate partner violence. We help survivors who are currently involved in an abusive relationship, actively exiting an abusive relationship, or still experiencing abuse from a previous relationship (for example, co-parenting with an ex-partner). Advocates facilitate support groups and help survivors navigate the legal system, and share community resources. Our program also guides and empowers the Jewish community through prevention programs and trainings to local schools, rabbis, and other community leaders.

Provides legal support and advocacy-based domestic violence counseling that helps survivors overcome barriers. Offers culturally and linguistically trauma-informed intervention, prevention, and outreach services including DV crisis response. Services include transitional housing, safety planning, meeting basic needs, individual and family therapy, peer group counseling as well as bilingual and bicultural, and step-by-step guidance to help navigate legal systems that ensure protection orders are in place and enforced by the law.

Provides 24/7 crisis response, legal and medical advocacy, counseling, shelter, and support groups for victims of domestic violence or sexual assault.

Provides domestic violence advocacy services, such as: -  Case management -  Counseling -  Support groups -  Legal advocacy   Staff will accompany refugee women and their children of any ethnicity to shelters and will attempt to meet their needs by providing crisis intervention, support, translation, etc.  Also offers education and training to the community and service providers about domestic violence and refugee/immigration issues.   Child care is available on a limited basis.

Provides domestic violence and sexual assault client advocacy services, including community outreach and education, parent support and skills classes, crime support services, and safety planning for survivors.

Provides services and resources to victims of domestic violence, including 24 hour crisis line, confidential domestic violence shelter, domestic violence advocacy, support groups, assistance with domestic violence protection orders, food, diapers, clothing, and an advocacy center for family and children with a therapist on site, which offers advocacy-based counseling services with focus on children who are victims of abuse. The staff and volunteers support victims to become survivors of abuse through counseling, shelter, medical and legal advocacy; and methods of prevention and self-preservation, if prevention is not an option.

Provides confidential specialized counseling for those who have experienced physical, verbal and/or emotional violence in their relationships.   Offers at least four individual sessions and participation in an ongoing support group at no charge to victims of domestic violence who have no access to financial resources or are reluctant to seek help.

Offers support, advocacy, and information to those affected by an abusive intimate partner relationship or sexual assault. Abuse may be physical, emotional, and/or sexual. Services are available in Spanish, and translation is available for all other languages. Services are available to teens and children and outreach services available to rural communities.  Confidential shelter housing is available.

Provides outreach, community education, support groups, evaluations and counseling to individuals, children, couples and families to promote mental, physical, spiritual, and cultural well- being through assistance with communication skills, wellness, self-esteem, post-traumatic stress disorder, life crisis, grief, oppression, depression, aging or illness and abuse issues.

Provides outpatient drug and alcohol counseling, youth counseling, domestic violence counseling, general mental health counseling, drug and alcohol evaluations, family services and referrals.

Provides advocacy for legal and public assistance needs for any victim of intimate partner domestic violence, any gender, living in Seattle, Shoreline or Lake Forest Park. Provides individual and group domestic violence advocacy for all genders. Offers support groups for survivors of domestic violence via zoom. Focus is on DV education, building self-esteem, ending social isolation, and group problem-solving.

Provides crisis intervention line, safe temporary housing for female domestic violence survivors and their children, as well as information and referral and group counseling for survivors of domestic and sexual violence and their families and friends. Sexual assault services include support, information and referral, and advocacy for people of all ages during medical exams and through the criminal justice system. Also provides legal advocacy services, including assistance with filing protection and anti-harassment orders, accompaniment to court proceedings, and legal referrals. There is a children's advocate who provides education about the cycle of domestic violence and provides childcare (with needs observation) during client appointments.

Focuses on abusive power and control issues in relationships that often times result in physical or emotional battery. Relationships not only include husband and wife, but also immediate and extended families or significant others in "live in, (or lived) together" relationships. Provides advocacy-based counseling for victims of domestic violence.   Advocates meet with clients in a safe location to discuss safety planning, access resources, provide moral support and coordinate support groups. Safety is the primary concern for victims, their children, and the staff. Advocates do not meet clients in their homes and do not meet with couples.

Advocacy-based counseling related to sexual harassment, rape, violence, or abuse.

DV/SAS offers advocacy-based counseling by appointment at the Ferndale Community Resource Center during regular office hours.  Advocacy-based counseling provides a special kind of support to someone who is coping with the effects of domestic violence and/or sexual assault.  The advocate can work with anyone affected by domestic violence/sexual assault over time to help deal with issues of victimization and to identify healthy and effective ways to cope with trauma.

Offers a crisis line, legal advocacy, emergency food, shelter, clothing, and medical support for victims of domestic violence, sexual assault, and crimes and child advocacy.

Provides various resources for victims of domestic violence, including a 24-hour crisis line, emergency shelter, emergency food and clothing, legal advocacy, support groups, comprehensive referrals to affordable housing options, and other supportive services, as needed. - Advocacy-based counseling: a cooperative effort shared between a client and an advocate with the primary focus on empowerment through reinforcing the client's autonomy and self-determination by using non-victim-blaming problem-solving methods that include: identifying barriers to safety, developing safety checking and planning skills, clarifying issues; providing options; solving problems, increasing self-esteem and self-awareness, and improving and implementing skills in decision making, parenting, self-help, and self-care. - Legal Advocacy: support and advocacy for clients as they navigate the legal system as related to the issue of domestic violence, such as filing for a protection order. Referrals are made to other service providers when any legal issue is beyond the scope of services provided by DVS. - Girls Circle/Boy's Council: a support group to encourage the development of strength, courage, confidence, honesty, and communication skills for youth, 8-18 years of age. Groups are held weekly to connect with each other and engage in activities that allow them to express themselves through curriculum-based activities like role play, drama, journaling, poetry, dance, drawing, and collage. - Resources and Referrals: Provides centralized resource and referral service to a wide variety of community and governmental programs. Provides training and technical assistance to other service providers and the public. Teen Dating Violence Education & Prevention: Works closely with local schools, educational professional, counselors and other providers who work with families and teens, to provide prevention education and intervention for teens. Teens can call the crisis line (509-582-9841 option 1) or meet with an advocate to talk about what is going on in their relationship, and to find out about available services and options. Parents, or other supportive adults, can call the crisis line or meet with an advocate to talk about how to help their teen who may be dealing with an abusive relationship. - Women's English & Spanish Support Groups: Provides support groups that are a safe place where victims and survivors can learn more about abuse, talk about their abuse, get support, and obtain helpful resources, which will provide tools to move forward towards a healthy and happy life. Call 509.582.9841 option 1 for schedule. - Housing Assistance: comprehensive referrals to affordable housing options for those who are at risk of losing their housing, relocating, or having trouble securing housing, due to their experience as a victim of domestic violence. May also assist with rental assistance to prevent an eviction or deposit assistance to get into a safe place.

Men of Compassion provides support, mentorship, healing and empowerment for abused and abusive men through support groups, crisis counseling, educational forums and other support services. Groups are held at the Hillyard Baptist Church each 2nd and 4th Friday evening.

Provides an 8 week educational support group for the non-offending parent and their children (6-11 years old), offering groups separately for mothers and children who have been traumatized and exposed to Domestic Violence. The families must no longer be in the relationship with the abuser.
