Includes treatments for: - Addictive behaviors - Aggressive or self-harming behaviors - Anxiety, worry, nervousness - Confused thinking - Depression, sadness, grief - Emotional problems, such as managing anger - Memory problems - Post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) - Relationship problems - Stress from medical problems and/or pain - Troublesome thoughts or ideas PTSD Programs Outpatient PTSD treatment may include participation in weekly group, individual, and/or couples therapy sessions. Also offers medication management and specialized treatment for substance abuse, anxiety, depression and anger. In the course of therapy, Veterans learn coping skills to reduce and manage symptoms, they engage in wellness programs to improve their physical health, and they have an opportunity to process their traumatic experiences. Inpatient PTSD treatment addresses severe PTSD symptoms that interfere with Veterans’ safety or ability to function in everyday life. Veterans admitted to the program generally stay 1-2 weeks and receive medical care, medications for PTSD, group psychotherapy, and help with financial and housing problems. Offered at Seattle location Residential PTSD is for Veterans with PTSD who require a more intensive and supportive environment than can be provided on an outpatient basis. Veterans who live in a community where access to PTSD treatment is limited may also benefit from a PTSD Domiciliary stay. Veterans in the PTSD Domiciliary attend daily classes and therapy groups and may be prescribed medications. They are also encouraged to participate in recreation/leisure activities and vocational services. Offered at American Lake location.

Community Reintegration Services (CRS) assist veterans who are homeless or at risk of homelessness in developing and maintaining the skills necessary to succeed in community living. Services include: - Vocational Services where veterans can access job search assistance, job coaching, educational guidance, and vocational skill-building resources. - Community Shelter and Housing works with community providers to help homeless veterans find local shelters. - Outreach to homeless veterans. - Case Managed Housing maintains 160+ veterans in case-managed housing.

Includes treatment for addictive, aggressive or self-harming behaviors, confused thinking, and emotional problems such as addiction, PTSD, depression, anxiety, trauma, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, OCD and more. Offers individual and group therapy. Also provides counseling regarding marriage and relationship problems. Focuses on recovery through a coordinated care approach allowing the Veteran to take charge of her/his treatment plan in coordination with a mental health treatment coordinator and other clinicians to participate in a safe and effective evidence-based therapy for themselves and their family. Veterans who have a discharge of "Other than Honorable" can present to the VA with urgent mental-health conditions or complaints and receive urgent medical services at VA facilities, regardless of their funding or benefits status.
