A referral specialist will email the family with information on one or two providers or agencies that meet their needs and have openings.
A few weeks after providing the referrals, a referral specialist will contact the family to see if they were able to make an appointment and ask if additional resources are needed.
If no appointment has been made, the referral specialist will try to address any barriers or link the family to another provider.

The crisis information and referral line is available to anyone affected by sexual assault/abuse, whether it’s recent or in the past. In addition, services are also available to family members and friends of victims. Advocates are carefully screened and fully trained to assist victims, families and the community with accurate information, confidential crisis intervention, and advocacy through medical and legal procedures.
