DUI Evaluations Provides a court-ordered assessment of individuals who have been charged with driving under the influence of drugs and/or alcohol to evaluate the severity of their problem and make a recommendation to the court regarding appropriate intervention services. Using various tests, screens, and questionnaires the counselor gathers data revealing the extent of the client's involvement with alcohol and other drugs. The client’s point of view of his/her substance use, and other verifiable, or objective data (e.g., BAL at time of arrest, driving abstract, etc.) are needed to make the diagnosis. Washington State Department of Licensing (DOL) laws mandate that all persons convicted of DUI/PC shall complete a Substance Use Assessment at a DOH Behavioral Health approved facility. MERIT is a WA State approved facility for DOL Assessment, ADIS, Treatment, and Completion Reporting.

Services and support for individuals between the ages of four and 24 with outpatient individual, family, and group counseling, as well as prevention and intervention services. Services encourage individual and family goals while recognizing the importance of trauma-informed, culturally and linguistically responsive treatment. Our highly trained counselors help youth identify inherent strengths to help them achieve their goals.

Provides direct access to clinical lab tests, paternity and DNA, alcohol and other toxicology testing services. Test results should be discussed with a physician or healthcare provider.

Provides outpatient behavioral Health and substance use services

Assessment - a comprehensive, face-to-face diagnostic interview to identify areas of concern as described by the individual. We collect a social, behavioral, and mental health history, document the student's history of involvement with alcohol and other drugs, as well as any other health concerns. Assessment starts the development of an individualized service plan. Intervention - a formal response to behavioral health risks intended to increase understanding of chemical dependency and to identify and reduce risk factors associated with developing substance use disorder. Treatment - Outpatient services are are guided by an individualized, formal treatment plan and vary in intensity and duration. Services include individual, group, and/or family counseling. Continuing Care - Provides ongoing support, reinforcement, and case management for individuals who are attempting to maintain a recovery lifestyle and are at risk for relapse or other behavioral problems. Several locations offer mental health services in addition to substance use disorder services.   

Provides a range of addiction and substance use disorder treatment services to support individuals and families to get on the road to recovery from substance use disorders. Includes assessments, DUI evaluations, co-occurring disorders treatment, prevention/education, and outpatient counseling. Pasco and Walla Walla Offices offer the Youth and Family Tree Program, which provides treatment to youth aged between 12-25 years old who are using substances. Uses evidence -based practices to provide treatment and case management to youth and their families. Provides substance use disorder treatment through groups and individuals sessions, mental health treatment to those with co-occurring disorders. Also offers services to family members struggling with substance use.

Provides mental health and chemical dependency services at multiple locations and assistance in development of a treatment plan to promote clean and healthy lifestyles. The objective is to create a foundation to build upon that will allow self-sufficiency in creating a balance in all aspects of life and living with physical, spiritual, emotional, and cultural growth.

Provides comprehensive outpatient services for individuals with substance use disorder and their families.   Consultation offers a free assessment with a counselor to determine eligibility for services.   Offers a 72-hour Intensive Outpatient Treatment Program consisting of Phases I and II. Phase I:  -  Program consists of individual counseling, alcohol and drug education, and group therapy. -  Meets five evenings weekly over four weeks for adult program, three evenings weekly over eight weeks for adolescent program.    Phase II:  -  Meets one night per week.  -  Adult program lasts 26 weeks, adolescent program 10 weeks.  -  Includes ongoing group therapy sessions and family group counseling.  -  Day program is also available.   Individual, group counseling is available.   Group therapy is monitored for deferred prosecution. Court Referral Service evaluates client's involvement with alcohol and other drugs, and recommends an appropriate course of action.   Provides DUI Assessments.  

Outpatient Treatment Provides outpatient substance use disorder services that usually requires fewer than nine hours per week of attendance, which may include individual and group counseling, 12-step meetings, social and recreational activities, educational and vocational services, life skills training, primary health care, perinatal health care, a program for family members, relapse prevention services, a continuing care program and supportive services (such as child care, transportation and parenting skills development). Length of service can be anywhere between six months to two years depending on the needs of the individual and/or court order.  Intensive Outpatient Treatment  Provides outpatient substance use disorder services that usually requires 9-20 hours per week of attendance, which may include individual and group counseling, 12-step meetings, social and recreational activities, educational and vocational services, life skills training, primary health care, perinatal health care, a program for family members, relapse prevention services, a continuing care program and supportive services (such as child care, transportation and parenting skills development).  DUI Evaluations Provides a court-ordered assessment of individuals who have been convicted of driving under the influence of drugs and/or alcohol to evaluate the severity of their problem and make a recommendation to the court regarding appropriate treatment.  Alcohol/Drug Assessment Determining the degree to which alcohol or drugs present a problem in life functioning. Referrals are accepted by courts, physicians, employers, managed care, and licensing organizations. A complete narrative assessment report is provided as part of this service.

Provides assessments for substance use disorders, mental health conditions, and gambling addictions, and also have licensed mental health counselors on site.

Deaf services clinicians provide comprehensive, evidence-based treatment addressing mental health and substance use disorders to King County children, adults and families. Offers direct access to care in sign language and understands the unique needs of people who are Deaf, hard of hearing or Deafblind. Helps with: - Counseling for everyday problems or an unexpected life crisis - Healing from trauma - Enhancing relationships & communication skills - Resolving workplace concerns & garnering support during career transitions - Providing psychiatric assessments, treatment, and medication management - Assessing and treating substance use disorders - The complex challenges of children & adolescents - Parenting support & education - Assistance with accessing other needed services such as housing Services are available both in-person and via telehealth.

Administers assessments, provides education, develops treatment plans, and provides treatment groups to help individuals obtain sobriety. After treatment, care is provided for up to four months.

Provides substance use disorder counseling and treatment for children and youth age 11 to 22, and their families in East King County, serving Bellevue, Kirkland and Redmond. YES co-occurring therapists hold dual licenses, enabling them to treat both mental health and substance use disorders. They offer individualized programs for clients and their families, designed to help youth and their caregivers develop skills to reduce substance use, make thoughtful choices, and address contributing factors like stress, anxiety, depression, and trauma. All YES substance use and co-occurring disorders treatment programs are motivational and strength-based, addressing substance use within the context of the whole person. These services integrate individual, family, and group therapy in a multi-phase treatment process grounded in evidence-based therapies.

Provides substance use disorder treatment for youth and adults, including DUI assessments, outpatient and intensive outpatient treatment, withdrawal management, and relapse prevention. Intensive outpatient substance abuse treatment services include 3 hour sessions, 4 days a week, for 6 weeks.

Offers assessments, early intervention groups, treatment groups, referral services, family support, parent coaching and aftercare for YOUTH AGES 11-20.    Alcohol/Drug Assessment Determining the degree to which alcohol or drugs present a problem in life functioning. The educational, 8-hour course provides students with valuable information about alcohol and other drugs. The course is designed to enhance responsible decision-making with regards to alcohol and other drug use.
