Offers a program which meets the requirements of state and municipal courts that order alcohol and drug education. The one 8-hour day consists of education related to recognition and consequences of high-risk behaviors.
HarborCrest’s ADIS is an informational class that is approved by Washington State to educate clients on the dangers of the use and or misuse of alcohol or other drugs. This class encourages participants to engage in effective decision making and focuses on the reduction of returning to habits that endanger not only their lives but also the lives of others. This class provides accurate information about alcohol and drugs to aid clients in developing a plan to help them make changes in high-risk substance use behaviors. ### The Course consists of: - Evaluating That Participants Are Responsible For The Choices They Make - Empowering Participants to Change Their Behavior - Enhancing Awareness Of Consequences Of High-risk Behaviors - Recognizing the Diversity Of Its Participants In Terms Of Their Relationship To Alcohol and/or Other Drugs, Experiences, Family, Culture, Education, And Motivation to Change Existing Attitudes and Behaviors. Class runs from 8am-4:30pm on the second Saturday of the month.

Drug/Alcohol Assessments

The service does not include a centralized triage function within the community or a formal relationship with the courts.

Presents an informational program which addresses how alcohol and drugs affect the body.
Presents an informational program which addresses how alcohol and drugs affect the body. State-approved instruction fulfills legal requirements for individuals court-referred to attend an Alcohol Drug Information School (ADIS). The educational, 8-hour course provides students with valuable information about alcohol and other drugs. The course is designed to enhance responsible decision-making with regards to alcohol and other drug use. Students are encouraged to explore the effects of alcohol and other drug use on themselves, their families and their world. Agency provides DBHR-certified service(s).

Youth Outpatient Treatment Program offered at WAPI Community Services Seattle
Provides mental health, alcohol & drug information schooling, outpatient substance use disorder treatment services, and intensive outpatient treatment for youth and adults of color.
Substance Use Disorder counseling for youth and adults. Provides education, assessment, treatment, group counseling, individual counseling, family counseling and case management.
Alcohol & Drug Information School State-approved instruction fulfills legal requirements for individuals court-referred to attend an Alcohol Drug Information School (ADIS). The educational course provides students with valuable information about alcohol and other drugs.
Outpatient Behavioral Health Program Provides on-site or telehealth counseling services that usually requires fewer than nine hours per week of attendance, which may include individual and group counseling, 12-step meetings, social and recreational activities, educational and vocational services, life skills training, primary health care, a program for family members, relapse prevention services, a continuing care program and supportive services (Such as child care, transportation and parenting skills development). Length of service can be anywhere between six months to two years depending on the needs of the individual and/or court order.
Intensive Outpatient Provides outpatient substance use disorder services that usually requires 9-20 hours per week of attendance, which may include individual and group counseling, 12-step meetings, social and recreational activities, education and vocational services, life skills training, primary health care, perinatal health care, a program for family members, relapse prevention services, a continuing care program and supportive services (such as child care, transportation and parenting skills development).
