The educational, 8-hour course provides students with valuable information about alcohol and other drugs. Staffed by physicians experienced in helping pregnant women with addictions, while providing care through all phases of their pregnancy. Dedicated to nonjudgmental and patient-centered comprehensive care. Offers dedicated nursing staff, an onsite social worker, and resources throughout the region to help patients reach their goals. Services include: - OB-specific Addiction consultation - Routine prenatal care - Medication assisted treatment - Care coordination and social work.

Maintains an office-based Suboxone treatment program (not a specialty) for people who are dependent on opioid drugs, such as hydrocodone or heroin. Also treats pregnant women.. Buprenorphine (Suboxone/Subutex) is a safe and effective treatment for people with dependence on opioid drugs like hydrocodone or heroin. This medication helps eliminate cravings and can help with pain. CHCW clinics are now able to prescribe this medication as part of an office based treatment program. If a patient would like to be added to the wait list, they may call the office. The wait list fluctuates with need and referrals. If they are already a patient of Community Health of Central Washington in Yakima or Kittitas Counties, they would be added. If they need transfer of primary care, they would be added as soon as that process is complete. There are 4 phases of care and as the patient progresses, they will have less frequent visits.

Assessments Assessment will present as a series of questions about individual's alcohol and/or drug use, medical or mental health issues, family and social environment, school and work, etc. The Chemical Dependency Professional will determine which treatment program is most suitable.
