This department coordinates the mitigation, prevention, response, emergency  preparedness and recovery aspects of disaster in Pacific County.  As a part of preparedness, public education in the form of presentations and/or handouts are available.

Provides emergency and response preparedness and homeland security planning.

Provides coordinated response, logistical support, mitigation, and recovery for all natural and man-made emergencies and disasters within the county.

A regional public safety service agency that provides 911 and 311 public safety dispatching and law enforcement services, emergency management, and safety radio system operation and maintenance. Offers sign-ups for public alerts, abandoned vehicle reporting, and requests for public records.

Prepares for disasters, including wildfires, floods, severe weather, earthquakes, and landslides. Responds to disasters when they occur.

Coordinates and facilitates resources to minimize the impacts of emergencies and disasters on people, property, economy, and the environment. In cooperation with other jurisdictions of the county, helps mitigate, prepare for, respond to, and recover from natural and technological emergencies and disasters.

Coordinates and facilitates emergency management activities for the Cities of Cathlamet, Skamokawa, Grays River, Rosburg, and Naselle, and for all unincorporated areas of Wahkiakum County. Also works with the Washington State Emergency Management Division (EMD) and the State of Homeland Security Region 4, which includes Cowlitz, Clark, Skamania, and Wahkiakum Counties.

Helps the San Juan Islands prepare for, respond to, and recover from disaster and large scale emergencies of all kinds. During emergency or disaster events, activates and coordinates staffing of the County Emergency Operations Center to assist in managing response activities, allocating resources, and facilitating recovery efforts.

The goal of Mason DEM is to strengthen the County’s ability to readily, effectively, and efficiently mitigate against, prepare for, respond to, and recover from all types of natural and man-made emergencies/disasters, including but not limited to earthquakes, windstorms, floods, wildland fires, acts of terrorism, and man-made/technological hazards. The department provides support to County agencies, regional partners, oversight and management of emergency communications, disaster response training, development and implementation of emergency plans, and conducts local and regional exercises.  Offers information about disaster preparedness, neighborhood programs and disaster awareness presentations.  The center gathers, analyzes and distributes information; serves as the central hub for coordination of response and recovery activities; manages resources; and provides a link between local and state governments. After a disaster, call to report the extent of your damages or loss.

DEM is responsible for emergency management within Island County to include planning and coordinating actions for the mitigation, response to, and recovery from natural and man-caused emergencies and disasters.  DEM provides hazard information, coordinates and provides emergency training for county residents, and emergency responders.  DEM also operates the county Emergency Operations Center (EOC) when it is activated.

Offers information on emergency preparedness. Provides public education including educational materials and displays. Provides county Emergency Disaster Response and Recovery Coordinators. Offers mitigation assistance and intergovernmental disaster coordination.

In cooperation with other jurisdictions of the county, the Okanogan County Emergency Management helps mitigate, prepare for, respond to, and recover from natural and technological emergencies and disasters.

Spokane County Emergency Management is the coordinating agency for the whole community during major emergencies and disasters.

Develops plans and prepares for, and responds to major disaster in the county of Adams. Provides public education and information regarding natural and manmade disasters within the County.

Coordinates and facilitates resources to minimize the impacts of disasters and emergencies on people, property, the environment and the economy of Walla Walla County. Provides mitigation, preparedness, response and recovery planning for emergency responders for major disaster events and facilitate forums with responders to exchange information and improve plans. Prepared to open an Emergency Coordination Center to provide support to field incident commanders and information to the public when a disaster occurs and provides public information on the hazards in Walla Walla County. Spanish interpreters available only during emergency situations.

Provides public safety services for life and property in Stevens County including prepare, prevent, response, mitigation, and recovery. Coordinates rapid notification of hazardous and urgent situations through the use of phone calls, texting and email messages.

Teaches emergency preparedness through public education, educational materials and displays.   Coordinates County Emergency Disaster Response and Recovery through partnerships with community members.

Provides for planning, coordination, and response to hazardous material and natural, man-made, and nuclear disasters.  Provides coordination of emergency services including police, fire, medical and welfare services; communications; chemical and other special weapons defense; evacuations; transportation; temporary restoration of public utility services; and other civil protection.

In cooperation with other jurisdictions of the county, the emergency management helps mitigate, prepare for, respond to, and recover from natural and technological emergencies and disasters.

Provides maintenance and development of disaster plans, preparedness programs for citizens and identification of facilities which handle hazardous materials. Offers information about disaster preparedness, neighborhood programs and disaster awareness presentations. During disasters, operates an Emergency Operations Center where officials from many disciplines come together to coordinate and direct activities, which may help save lives and protect property. Serves Grandview, Granger, Harrah, Mabton, Moxee, Naches, Selah, Sunnyside, Tieton, Toppenish, Union Gap, Wapato, Yakima, Yakima County and Zillah.

This department works with the mitigation, prevention, response, emergency  preparedness and recovery aspects of a disaster in Kitsap County. Public education in the form of presentations/handouts are their tools. The Kitsap County Department of Emergency Management is constantly in the process of preparing and updating comprehensive plans for responding to emergency situations. These plans are developed in conjunction with our local, regional, state and federal partners and affiliates. Following are our key emergency plans to guide us through the four stages of emergency management - preparedness, mitigation, response and recovery.

Provides emergency management activities that are divided into four phases; mitigation, preparedness, response, and recovery. Assists with the following: - Activities in the Mitigation Phase work to "eliminate or reduce the chance of occurrence or the effects of a disaster" - The Planning Phase addresses how we will respond to a disaster in our community - The Response Phase is the time spent immediately after an incident occurs that we are providing direct assistance to the community - The Recovery Phase runs from the end of the Response Phase until activities are back to normal
