Operates three thrift stores around Yakima supplying clothing and household items for low cost for clients in need at YUGM. All other donated items get sold to raise money to support the work on the Yakima Union Gospel Mission. These stores are designed to give a warm shopping experience with great deals for our community and convenient drop off locations for those wishing to donate their gently used items. Locations: Mission Thrift 2011 W Lincoln Ave, Yakima 509-317-2544 M-Sa, 9am-7pm. Donations drop off: are M-Sa, 9am-5pm. Summit Thrift 5606 Summitview Ave, Yakima 509-248-9207 W -Sa, 10am-6pm. Donations drop off: are Sun, 12pm-6pm, M-Sa, 9am-6pm. Lighthouse Thrift 1606 N 1st Street, Yakima 509-424-4888 M-Sa, 9am-8pm. Donations drop-off: M-Sa, 9am-5pm.

Provides new car seats and layettes. Layettes include gowns, pajamas, outfits, fleece sleep sacks, onesies, booties, socks, hats, receiving blanket quilts, crib blankets, bibs, washcloths, burp cloths, diapers, wipes, a soft toy, and a storybook. Accepts donations of these items. Does not accept baby furniture or large equipment.

Once enrolled, a client works with an advocate to choose a curriculum that fits their needs and interests.  Clients earn "Baby Bucks" while they learn how to be better parents.   There are programs available in financial planning, relationship building and communications tools. Available resources includes: layettes, diapers, wipes, clothing - sizes infant to 2T,  car seats, cribs and baby furniture.

Offers ongoing support for pregnant women and their partners, and parenting families of infants and toddlers. Parenting education is provided one on one with a trained parenting advocate. Once enrolled, a client works with their parenting advocate to choose a curriculum best suited to their needs and interests. While clients are learning they earn credits to spend any way they wish on maternity and baby supplies at the Boutique.

Accepts donations for time, money, and goods. Accepts donations for supplies including baby items, children's needs, gas vouchers, blankets, personal care items, emergency food, camping supplies, including tents, sleeping bags, etc. Does not accept furniture or large household items. All donations are accepted and will be dispersed among other local non-profits if we cannot find a need.

Sells low-cost clothing, furniture, and household items, including new & used items such as toys, household appliances, dishes, pictures, books, CDs, furniture, and a men's section. Thrift store was established to help raise funds to build homes for families in need in Lake Chelan Valley. Donations and shopping ensures that the store continues to provide simple, decent, affordable housing. Volunteer opportunities include sales, pricing/sorting, display/decorating/cleaning, and maintenance.

Offers help to women who are pregnant. Helps with maternity clothes. Will supply baby items 2 months before the due date. Baby items may include car-seats, layettes, strollers, tubs, baby furniture, diapers, formula etc., depending on the donations. Also has a small clothing bank for preemie to 5T. Assistance is provided once every two months until the youngest child is 5 years old.

Accepts the following donations: - Furniture - Appliances - New and used women's and children's clothing - Toiletries - Cleaning supplies   Items are used on-site and distributed to residents of Acres of Diamonds transitional housing facility.   Does not pick up donations. Offers tax receipts for all donations. We work with thrift stores in the area. They accept the donations we cannot and in turn provide our residents with coupons and/or gift cards. Our partnerships are with Helping Hands (all locations), Re-In-Carnation, and Eastside Community Aid Thrift Shop in Kirkland.

Other items are dependent on donations such as baby furniture, blankets, toys, books, car seats and strollers and maternity clothing. All car seats are inspected by an on-site technician. Written Spanish and Dari brochures available and spoken Spanish is available on Monday and Friday. .

Operates a Thrift Store in Tacoma off of South Tacoma Way. Provides affordable clothing and household goods, on-the-job training through the Second-Chance Employment Program and offers emergency assistance through the Community Resource Center (CRC) to provide basic needs to help neighbors in need facing an immediate crisis. The CRC is located adjacent to the Thrift Store and walk-ins are okay. No referral is needed.
