Offers many programs and provides information on how to reduce and prevent injuries and emergencies. Will provide home visits to make sure that all smoke alarms and detectors are in working order and mounted properly. Also will install and replace batteries when needed. Will provide helmets and custom fittings at headquarters. Provides child passenger safety seat installations and inspections. Call headquarters to schedule an appointment. Offers a SeniorSafe@Home Program that conducts a safety assessment inside and outside of the participant's home to identify and resolve potential fire and fall risks before they happen.

The Safety Center offers child safety assessments to help parents identify safety hazards in the home. Also offers a variety of low-cost safety products including security locks, carbon monoxide detectors and smoke alarms, baby safety gates, bike helmets, and more. The Safety Center also provides education on the correct use and installation of child safety seats and seat restraints. The Safety Center sponsors periodic child safety seat checkups, a certified technician will help parents and caregivers learn how to install and use their child restraints properly and will check for correct installation of child safety seat, damage, recalls, and size and age appropriateness. Child safety seats are distributed for those meeting income requirements.

Provides rides to anyone needing non-emergency transportation to the local hospital, pharmacies or local medical offices including physicians, dentists, optometrists, chiropractors and therapists. Van has a hydraulic lift for large wheelchairs.   Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult.   The van is not equipped with car seats. If a car seat is required for a young passenger, the parent must supply the car seat.

Provides a free smoke alarm program that replaces or installs smoke alarms. Provides CPR and First Aid classes, Safe Sitter classes and more. Also provides child passenger safety checks.

Provides law enforcement and emergency services for the city of Yakima. Also does free safety child car seat inspections by appointment or during special events throughout the year.

Provides various services for children, such as car seat safety checks and car seat discounted fees, Access to Baby and Child Dentistry (ABCD Dental), and Children with Special Health Care Needs (CSHCN). - ABCD provides access to dental care throughout Benton Franklin Counties for children who have WA Apple Health (Medicaid). Provides assistance in finding a dentist that will fit location, timing and language preferences and assists in coordinating transportation and interpreter services. - CSHCN provides care coordination for children with complex health needs, assists families to coordinate care with medical providers, to access local resources for their child, and to understand cope with the child's health condition. - Car seat safety check are also provided at Kadlec Regional Medical Center, 2nd Wednesday of every month. Only by appointment.

Offers a team that helps advise and support mothers through their pregnancy. Team includes a: - Registered Nurse - Nutritionist - Behavioral Health Specialist - Community Health Worker - an Infant Case Manager. Services are provided wherever convenient for participants whether that be in home, clinic or in the community. Programs, often offered by police and fire personnel, that conduct inspections which offer guidance regarding child passenger safety seats and the law, choosing a car seat that is appropriate for a particular child's height and weight, correct car seat installation and restraining a child in a car seat.

Offers a safe and easy way to use on-demand ridesharing services including Uber, from a cell phone or landline. No smartphone required. Rides can be paid for by friends or family members. Also provides the option for family members/caregivers/friends to receive travel status text notifications about the rider. Client can set up automatic rides for fixed medical appointments. During periods of higher demand, the price may fluctuate, however the price rate of the ride is given before ride is ordered. Often it will only take five minutes for demand to return to normal. Call representatives can also provide fare estimates. When matched with a driver, rider will be given their name, car type and license plate number. Will also provide the estimated time of arrival (ETA) and give an automated call once the driver has arrived. Vehicles are not lift-equipped, but drivers can help load the car or transport mobility equipment if portable. Riders should be able to transfer from a wheelchair to a seat without assistance.

Car Seat Education and Assistance Program – Child passenger safety information and education is provided by appointment to ensure all children have a properly installed car or booster seat and can travel as safely as possible. Some assistance in obtaining safe car seats is available for those who qualify.

Enforces all Federal laws, Washington state laws, and city ordinances within the boundaries of the City of Fife. Also provides car seat safety checks.

Organizes crime prevention programs, including Neighborhood Block Watches.  Residents are organized and instructed in home security.   Also gives information about child safety and provides identification cards for children. Provides child identification program as well as child car seat safety inspections and certification.

Provides technical assistance, training, and funding to local Safe Kids coalitions in the state of Washington. Works to prevent unintentional injuries of children by addressing topics such as traffic safety, bike safety, sports safety, fire safety, fire, burn, and carbon monoxide safety, safe firearm storage, ATV and Farm/Ranch safety, and medication safety and poison prevention.

Provides free medical equipment including wheelchairs, walkers, crutches, bath seats, etc as inventory allows. People who are in need of equipment can call Neighbors Helping Neighbors to check inventory status.Delivery is available if necessary. There is no requirement for equipment to be returned.

Provides comprehensive and up-to-date birth and family education at the most affordable price for pregnant women and their families. Program offers a full spectrum of classes covering pregnancy through parenting teens and is taught by certified childbirth educators. Learn what to expect during pregnancy and labor, parenting skills for newborn, young child, or teen, and you'll meet other people experiencing some of the same joys and challenges that go along with being a mom or dad. Support groups are also available.  

Provides police services to residents of Auburn.  Provides the following crime prevention programs:   - Operation Identification: Loans an electric engraver to residents to mark valuable property.   - Neighborhood Watch: Operates a program in which residents are organized and instructed in home security.   - Safety Education Programs: Child safety programs are designed for grades K-6 on bicycle safety, school bus safety, seat belts, etc.   - Personal Safety Education: Provides information on rape prevention and advice for older adults.   - House Checks: Provides regular house checks for residents going out of town; program is limited to two weeks.   - Business Program: Presents a program on loss prevention and armed robbery.

Facilitates one-on-one meetings with a parenting mentor, who can help clients set up a class schedule and meet for individual parenting training sessions and encouragement. Participants earn "Care Net Cash" which they can use to shop in the baby boutique, which has items like diapers, formula, clothing and baby furniture including car seat Limited one-time assistance provided for non-participants.

Provides play-based parent coaching and therapy services for children ages birth to three. Services include free developmental screenings, physical, occupational, speech, and feeding therapy. Also offers family resources coordination, nutrition and lactation consulting, baby clothing bank and car seat inspections.

Provides free car seat checks for proper use and installation. Service done by a certified technician.

Provides free infant and toddler clothing (including onsies), diapers and baby wipes to those in need. Creates handmade packets for newborns which include layettes and a newborn car seat. Baby food and formula are sometimes available, depending on donations. Also offers prayer ministry. Strollers and other infant items are available. Also offers clothing for children (up to size 5). Some shoes and toys available. All services will depend on donations. Households can visit once per month. Each visit a household can receive 40 diapers per child, up until the age of 4/ size 6.
