Provides short-term disaster services for victims of fires, floods, and natural disasters. Depending on need, Red Cross provides short-term immediate disaster assistance such as: Food, Clothing, Shelter, Prescription refills, Eye-glasses, Counseling, Referrals to other organizations that help with long-term needs  In the event of a large scale disaster, listen to your emergency radio station for ongoing announcements and information. If all communications have been disrupted, look for a law enforcement official. The Red Cross provides disaster assistance 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Bilingual volunteers are available to provide interpretation assistance if needed.

Opens the parish hall as a temporary emergency warming shelter when the temperature is forecasted to fall below 20 degrees Fahrenheit, including wind chill and precipitation. Provides a hot dinner and breakfast. Maintains a supply of inflatable mattresses and camping beds, along with sleeping bags, pillows, linens, and blankets. Guests are also provided toiletries as needed, such as soap, shampoo, and toothbrushes; donations of clean, warm gloves, hats, and clothing are available as well.

Provides families with children safe and warm 24 hour shelter. For screening and referral to the shelter, visit the Family Support Center. After office hours, call the shelter hotline.

Provides families and individuals in a disaster from wildfire or who are in an emergency crisis caused by nature with disaster assistance and services. Services provided are shelter and shelter referrals; food; meals; clothing; tents & sleeping bags; hygiene item & toiletries; assistance with applying for services; referrals to disaster services; fuel cards to get medicine, visit doctor, and social service agencies; and totes for clothing and other items.

Provides emergency shelter and meals to those seeking refuge from a natural disaster, such as floods, earthquakes, volcanic eruptions, windstorm, and home and apartment fires. Help is given to individuals and families affected by disaster; assistance is geared toward meeting immediate emergency needs. Enables victims of disaster to resume living independently by providing the means for them to pay for what they need most; from groceries, new clothing, and rent to emergency home repairs, transportation, household items, medicines, and tools. Helps those needing long-term recovery assistance when other resources are not available or are inadequate.

Offers showers to community members in need, with soap, shampoo, and towels supplied. Also supplied when available include: razors, shaving cream, mouthwash, toothpaste, tooth-brushes, combs, socks, and underwear.and other resources.
