Pend Oreille District Court is a court of limited jurisdiction serving the citizens of Pend Oreille County and the municipalities of Newport, Cusick, Ione, Metaline, and Metaline Falls. The District Court hears the following cases: felony first appearances, criminal misdemeanors and gross misdemeanors, traffic and non-traffic infractions, civil lawsuits for money damages up to $100,000, small claims up to $10,000, protection orders, and name changes.

Offers an evidence‐based home visitation case management for pregnant and newly parenting women with substance use disorders.

Firefighter/Emergency Medical Technicians and Firefighter/Paramedics respond to fire emergencies in the city of Seattle.

Advises Seattle city government on issues that impact women in Seattle; promotes programs and recommends policy and legislation.

Investigates reports of child abuse and neglect. Assesses reports to determine whether the report meets the legal definition of abuse or neglect and how dangerous the situation is.

Offers both paid and unpaid on-the-job work experience internships for parents making the transition from welfare/TANF dependency to self-sufficiency.

This community based, specialized clinic is led by Ron Okialda, ARNP, and provides treatment for pediatric patients who have been diagnosed with ADHD or autism and focuses on improving quality of life.

Provides in-home medical equipment to those in need throughout Kitsap county. Equipment includes: lift chairs, wheelchairs, hospital beds, bath and shower chairs, portable bathroom equipment, etc.

Provides parent education and support groups for parents of infants to teens as well as for expectant parents. Focuses on meeting the needs of Koreans and Korean Americans.

Provides hot meal for Plateau families and individuals in a warm family environment. Meals are prepared and served by various groups in the community.

Provides minor home repair assistance to low-income Mason County residents.  Volunteers provide assistance with exterior painting, ramps, roofing, and other home repairs to keep the home safe.

Offers volunteer opportunity for anyone who is interested in providing assistance in the crisis line or shelter.

A community-based program where children from primarily single-parent families are matched to adult volunteers. Volunteers see the children 3-4 hours, 3-4 times per month for at least a year, sharing interests they both enjoy. Age range for Community Based Mentoring is 6-18

Accepts new and gently used coats that are then donated to children in need during the cold weather.

Offers gender affirming hormone care for those ages 18 and older. Clients don’t need to participate in therapy or provide information from a mental health provider to receive hormone therapy.

Serves a hot lunch four days a week for adults ages 50 and older.

Provides all elementary, middle, and high schools with counselors to assist students and their families in the areas of education, career, social, and emotional development.

Provides legal counsel for those who have been charged with a criminal offense and meet financial eligibility.
