Provides food assistance through local neighborhood chapters via food pantries or through a gift card at grocery store.   Not all areas of King County are served by a chapter, and not all existing neighborhood chapters provide help with food.

Website indicates whether the farmers market accepts WIC Farmers Market Nutrition Program & Fruit & Vegetable Benefits, Senior Farmers Market Nutrition Program, SNAP, SNAP Market Match, Fresh Bucks or Other benefits.   Contact information is also provided for each farmers market.   To use an EBT card at a Farmers Markets, go to the Market information booth, tell the staff how much money you would like to spend, and they will swipe your EBT card for the amount you request.   Users will then be given tokens for the amount to buy fresh produce and other foods at the Market.   Some farmers markets participate in the SNAP Market Match (and Fresh Bucks in Seattle), which matches a certain amount of SNAP with tokens or other market currency that can used to buy fruit and vegetables at the farmers market. Amount varies by farmers market. Participating markets are located in several counties throughout the state.

(Does not serve Granite Falls, Lake Stevens, Darrington).   ALL SERVICES ARE DEPENDENT UPON AVAILABILITY OF FUNDING AT THE TIME OF THE REQUEST.  Offers clothing, furniture/beds, household items, food, rent/utilities assistance, prescription medication assistance, and other expenses on a case-by-case basis. Callers are referred to the St. Vincent de Paul volunteers in their area who may do a home visit to determine need.  Financial services are provided through a vouchering system.  Not all services are offered in all areas.

Delivers meals to older adults in King County. Provides a choice of 30 plus different meals including breakfast, kosher, vegan, and vegetarian. Additionally, some meals are low in saturated fat, low cholesterol, and low sodium. Participants may order one meal for each day in the month, delivered weekly or twice per month. Liquid nutritional supplements (Ensure and Glucerna) are available for purchase. Meals arrive frozen and packaged in trays that can be heated in either a microwave or conventional oven. Service begins approximately 2 weeks after agency receives the application.

Volunteers deliver free non-perishable meal kits that require cooking. Also offers delivery of hygiene products, toilet paper, and feminine hygiene products. Bus passes are also offered at no cost.

Offers furniture, appliances, lamps, curtains, towels and bed linens; small kitchen appliances, cookware, bake ware, flatware and dishes. Offers clothing, shoes, coats and other cold weather gear; toiletries, medical equipment, blankets and food.

South Kitsap Helpline's primary service area covers Kitsap County, but anyone who needs food assistance will be served. No one will leave hungry.

Offers state, federal and locally funded education based programs for encouraging well being and quality of life. Programs include Agriculture Education, Expanded Food and Nutrition Education Program (EFNEP), Health & Wellness, Master Gardner Program, and Natural Resources.

Provides mobile food banks that stop in several neighborhoods in the county and provides enough nutritious food to make at least three meals for three days for everyone in the household. People may visit any Nourish Pierce County Food Bank that is convenient for them; service is not dependent on zip code or residence. Clients "shop" and self-select food that meets their needs. Depending on donations, things like pet food, hygiene supplies or baby food may be available. Services is provided once a week, but if there are additional needs, no one is turned away. Does not provide assistance with rent or utility bills.

Provides a meal program for low income seniors.

Provides food distribution, employment training and development, to those in need.  The Empowerment Center is the social services arm of El Shaddai Christian Ministries, and served the South Puget Sound area for more than 13 years.  Mission is to empower people to achieve their greatest potential and highest quality of life.

Provides one-time emergency grants up to $250 to post 9/11 wounded servicemembers or their caregivers for assistance with basic needs. Grant money is paid directly to the person owed the debt such as a landlord or utility company whenever possible. Examples of small grants include food, utilities, housing, clothing, health expenses, assistance with child care, vehicle repairs & other routine household expenses, home & vehicle adaption, funeral expenses, adaptive equipment, moving assistance, travel, etc.

Several churches in the Wenatchee and Upper Valley operate Little Free Pantries, which distribute free non-perishable food and hygiene items. Some pantries may also provide cleaning supplies, diapers, kitchenware, and toiletries.

Offers assistance with essential needs and develops supportive, nurturing relationships to walk the journey with young families in need. PREPARES Baby Supply Bags: provides basic baby supplies, based on the age of the child and can include diapers, wipes, formula, clothing, books, and toys. Family Companions: provide an opportunity for a pregnant or parenting family to be matched with a trained family companion volunteer who gives the family ongoing support and encouragement. Find comfort and guidance with the support of a family companion who has walked the path of parenthood and empathize with its joys and struggles. Play and Learn Groups: facilitates play groups to support early brain development and kindergarten readiness: play group curriculum is based on the latest research in early childhood brain development and family engagement. Play groups give parents and informal caregivers a free, accessible place to meet other families and get support. Sessions are held weekly in community spaces in the child’s own neighborhood and language. Parents as Teachers (PAT): develops curricula, trains early childhood professionals, and certifies parent educators to work with parents to provide them with parenting support and information on their developing child. Vision: All children will learn, grow and develop to realize their full potential.

Provides emergency food baskets and hygiene items for anyone in need.

Senior centers offer a variety of social, recreational and educational programs. Services may include: health services, support groups, arts and crafts classes, exercise classes, congregate meals, recreational trips and volunteer opportunities. Contact the center directly to obtain the most current offerings. Congregate meals are offered twice weekly.

Offers financial help with rent, utilities and gas vouchers. Provides non-perishable food.

Provides lower income seniors with an electronic benefits card that will be used to purchase $80 in fresh fruits, vegetables, honey, and fresh-cut herbs at approved farmers markets and farm stores throughout Washington State.

Provides congregate hot meal program to adults, ages 50 and older.  Serves delicious, balanced meals in welcoming group settings.  Meals are prepared on site.

South Beach Food bank serves residents of the South Beach from Westport to Tokeland Washington including Ocosta and Bay City.

Provides two food bags per month. First bag between 1st-15th; second bag between the 16th-last day of month. Homeless individuals may also receive a food bag even if they don't have the requested documentation.

Offers food bank services to those in the Anacortes area.

Provides education to residential consumers regarding small tree fruits, vegetable gardening, composting, stone fruits, ornamentals, etc.; via brochures and other printed material, individual telephone consultation, and community clinics which are presented at nurseries throughout Snohomish County.

Provides hot meals for seniors 60 years and older; a donation of $4.00 is requested from those over 60 and those under 60 must pay full price of meal (currently $7.00).Those under 60 who volunteer at the meal site are treated as seniors. Home delivered meals are delivered to a senior's home when attendance at a meal site is not practical and home participants are generally homebound. Often HD meals are sent out after a hospital stay or when the spouse that usually prepares the meals becomes ill or dies.  Frozen meals are available to those who need them on other days or who live too far from the meal sites.

Delivers groceries once per week to homebound individuals and families in southeast Seattle.
