Provides food boxes once per month which may contain canned goods, fresh produce, bread, and frozen meat. While the food in a box varies, generally there is enough for three to twelve nutritionally balanced meals depending on the size of the family.

Visitors get two full visits per month, and a supplemental visit once per week. Full visits provide fresh produce, bread/bakery items, deli and dairy items, frozen foods, canned and dry items and bonus items if available. Supplemental visits provide fresh produce, bread/bakery items, deli items, dairy items and bonus items if available. Clients may also get newborn bags and baby supplies, and birthday bags for children 12 and younger.

Provides a shopping-style food pantry with meat, dairy, canned and dried foods, and fresh produce. Availability of food options depends on donations. Also offers clothing, shoes, and bedding.

Fresh produce and other groceries will be provided to all families facing hunger. This food distribution is open to the public, with no appointment or documentation needed. Please bring a box or bags for your food.

Provides food to community members in need at 11 rural locations throughout Whitman County. Emergency food boxes can be provided to those in urgent need within 24 hours. Senior Commodities Box: provides a commodities supplemental food program for seniors 60 and over for those who need some extra food each month (must register). Distributions are in the following communities: Palouse, Rosalia, Garfield, LaCrosse, Malden/Pine City, St. John, Oakesdale, Endicott, Tekoa, Colton/Uniontown, Colfax/Steptoe and Pullman. Please call for dates and times.

Offers food bank services distributing food, toiletries and household supplies as donated, including items such as toilet paper, shampoo, bottled water, deodorants etc.

Operates a weekly food bank on Mondays from 10am-1pm for anyone in need. Depending on donations, may have the following foods:   - Vegan food - Fresh food (bread, dairy products, produce) - Pre-made foods (sandwiches, salads, soups) - Kosher food

Assists low-income VETERANS with emergency assistance with food, gas, rent, utilities, transportation, and other needs a veteran may have (make sure to read eligibility requirements).

Operates six food pantries throughout Yakima County located in the communities of Yakima, Sunnyside, Mabton, Wapato, White Swan and a pop-up food pantry in Ahtanum. So far, this fiscal year, the SOC Food Pantries programs monthly average is 3951 households / 14757 individuals served.

A food bank and government surplus food distribution site.  Households may receive assistance twice a month.  Hours for commodities distribution same as food bank hours.

Provides emergency food assistance to individuals and families in need, along with referrals to other local service agencies when additional support is needed. Beyond food, we offer programs like the Blossom Program, which supplies diapers, wipes, formula, and other essential items at no cost to clients. Our mission extends beyond addressing hunger—we work to support the whole person and strengthen our community. Every contribution directly helps purchase food, stock our pantry shelves, provide critical supplies, and sustain programs that meet client needs beyond food insecurity.
