Provides utility assistance for households in Okanogan County who are low income and meet the poverty guideline. Households with a shut-off notice are priority, call for more details. Helps with electric, gas, wood, and water/sewer/garbage bills.

Provides various housing programs for families and individuals living in Asotin County. Offers Coordinated Entry, Homeless Diversion, and Housing and Essential Needs (HEN). - Coordinated entry is a process developed to ensure that all people experiencing a housing crisis have fair and equal access and are quickly identified, assessed for, referred, and connected to housing and assistance based on their strengths and needs. - Diversion is a fast paced, short-term case management program that can assist the individual/household(s) with solving problems and barriers by utilizing the existing strengths and resources of the individual/household(s). We can assist with limited flexible funding, based on eligibility, in order to assist the individual/household with obtaining permanent housing which can include relocation and other activities that support obtaining permanent. - Housing and Essential Needs Grant Funds can only be used to support HEN eligible clients that qualify as homeless or at-risk of homelessness. Allowable financial assistance for housing may include monthly rent, overdue rent, security deposit, and service animal deposits. Utilities assistance is limited to electricity, natural gas, sewer, water, garbage, and utility deposits. Essential Needs assistance includes help with obtaining personal health and hygiene items (such as toothpaste, shampoo, toilet paper), cleaning supplies (such as laundry and dish soap), and bus passes.  Assistance cannot be provided through gift cards, vouchers, or certificates.  All HEN clients are eligible to receive essential needs assistance.

Kinship Caregivers Support Services Program provides financial assistance to kinship caregivers (grandparents and relatives raising children) and assists them in obtaining resources necessary to help stabilize the family.   We can help pay for the cost of emergent needs incurred by grandparents or other relatives at the time a child comes to live with them, such as:   Clothing purchase   Food   Basic Supplies   Housing   Childcare   Relocation costs   Utility assistance

Case managers help HIV/AIDS affected individuals find housing and related resources. Services include short-term and long-term housing search assistance, one-time emergency rental assistance for security deposits or to prevent evictions.

Provides help with rent or utilities (approximately $200) if funding allows, and limited assistance with clothing and furniture. Serves their parish boundaries within zip codes 98499, 98439 and JBLM. Assistance is provided once a year. Must have disconnect notice, or a pay or vacate notice for financial assistance.

Provides limited basic needs and financial assistance to eligible applicants needing help as result of a current or recent (within 6 months) intimate partner abuse situation. Services are confidential. Provides financial assistance based on funding availability with: - Utility bill arrears - Housing: funds for landlord applications and move-in costs subject to funders guidelines while funds last. South Beach Christian Outreach provides residents from Ocosta to as far south as Tokeland with a free lunch, clothing, hygiene items, and food pantry.

Provides limited financial assistance for things like rent or utilities. Sometimes a gas voucher may be available for an appointment. All services are donation and volunteer based. Also partners with other organizations in the community. Serves the Toledo, Winlock, Vader, Napavine, Morton and Mossyrock areas of Lewis County. Conference volunteers are from the local church, but services are not provided at the church.

Provides various services to help people meet basic needs and stabilize their family, either directly as resources are available, or through linkages to other community-board services. The low-income energy assistance is provided once a year to families and individuals in need who meet the income requirements, and other assistance with energy costs may also be available. Services may include: energy assistance (electric, gas, propane, and wood, when funding permits); gas vouchers or free transit bus passes; lodging / motel vouchers; and food referrals (provides referrals to a local food banks and food pantries for food). People who want to improve circumstances and exit poverty can become equipped through the Future Story Initiative, essential skills training and financial and family-centered coaching.

Once per year, Our Place may provide West Central residents with Avista assistance of up to $300.

Provides assistance for drug and alcohol evaluations, utilities, drivers test expenses, any sort of heating, some medical prescriptions, employer directed work clothes, and transit passes in the Port Angeles area.  Does not provide assistance with rent or telephones.  Assistance is limited to $75 in a twelve month period.  You must call to schedule an appointment for an eligibility interview.
