Provides adult basic education classes, which include math, reading, writing, basic computer, and job skills. Also offers ESL classes (English as a Second Language) which helps students obtain the necessary skills to become fluent in the English language.

Offers intensive ESL and community ESL programs for people with tourist and student visas, as well as local residents.   Volunteers are recruited and placed with student ESL classes. Volunteers receive sensitivity training and tutoring skills training.   Also offers advanced ESL classes for students focusing on office and customer service/hospitality occupations.   Some child care is available on a fee basis for enrolled students.   ABE/ESL classes are for adult citizens, immigrants and refugees only. Offers a variety of classes for individuals wishing to improve basic skills and complete high school or GED preparation. Basic skills helps adults with reading, writing, math, conversation, employment, basic computer skills for transition to college and careers.   See website for more information. Offers GED preparation classes and testing. Participants must be 17 1/2 years of age or older. Younger students must obtain permission from high school. English Language Acquisition (ELA) program and classes in the daytime and evening at the main campus.   Adults 19 years of age or older, under 19 must be formally released from high school before enrolling. HS 21+ Offers classes contextualized to high school subjects, previous credit acceptance and credit for prior learning to that adults can earn a high school diploma and transition to college or career.

Provides various services for community members, including food pantry, tutoring services for students K-12, ESL, basic computer skills classes, small business training and technical assistance, youth organizing (voting registration and civic engagement), Dream As A Team (activities for kids), and Un Buen Consejo, which is a Facebook livestream giving COVID-19 updates, promoting events, and has invites speakers to providing community information, every M Tu & F, 7pm. Also offers Environmental Alliance, which provides information on how to prepare homes for evacuation procedures, evacuation kits.

Teaches 5 levels of English as a Second Language for adults for a small fee to cover material costs. LEVEL 1 Beginning English: This class is for students who need instruction in basic English - learning the alphabet, numbers, days of week and other basic elements of English. It will help students learn to recognize vocabulary and learn to form simple sentences in order to carry on basic conversations. Being comfortable is the goal. LEVEL 2 English Language: This class is for students who know the basic skills covered in level 1. They may be able to communicate with compound sentences. They will be introduced to phonics. LEVEL 3 English Language: This class is for students who may have taken some English before, but need to work on vocabulary, pronunciation and conversation to be proficient and comfortable in English. Elements may also include topics concerning history and geography of U. S. Level 4 English Language: This class is for students with medium level English ability. Reading, writing, listening and speaking English are emphasized. Comprehension of the reading includes vocabulary study. English grammar is not emphasized unless it is necessary for clear English meaning. Usually there is a written homework assignment which is then read and shared at the next class. Comfort in speaking is an important aspect of this class. LEVEL 5 English Language: This class is for students who already have good English skills. It emphasizes conversation, sentence structure and vocabulary. Discussion of current events is also a part of this class as is some journaling.

The ESL class runs September through June with open admission at any time. It provides non-native speakers of English with the linguistic and cultural skills necessary for academic achievement, integration into American society, and success in the workplace. There are six levels of ESL instruction including oral communication, reading, writing and grammar and, skills for specific goals, such as preparation for the US citizenship test.

Offers Associate and Bachelor of Applied Science (BAS) degrees, and a wide variety of professional certificates. Over 90 program options and various classes are available, including Basic Education for Adults, English as a Second Language, testing services, and non-credit corporate and continuing education courses. Disability Support Services helps support students requiring accommodations to academic programs and activities. Hosts an Early Learning Center, offering state-licensed childcare services for students and employees.

Offers multiple pre-college programs.   Adult Basic Education Teaches basic English reading, writing and math skills. Classes help students transition into college or career training programs, learn workplace computer skills, discover personal strengths and learn workplace relational skills. General Education Development Helps students prepare for the four-part GED test. Successful completion of the four-part test (Language Arts, Math, Science and Social Studies) earns a GED certificate.   GED certification is equivalent to a high school education and is usually accepted in place of a diploma. ESL Classes help with reading, writing and grammar, speaking and listening, pronunciation, workplace skills, beginning computer literacy and citizenship. Useful English prepares students for real world needs and college-level reading and writing. High School Completion Provides adults 19 years or older an opportunity to earn a high school diploma in a college setting, substituting college classes for remaining high school requirements. High school completion classes (English, math, history, science) are scheduled in the evenings to accommodate adult students with daytime jobs. Students who test into college level may take regular day or evening college courses for high school graduation credit. High School 21+ Assists adults 21 years and older complete their high school diploma and prepare for college level courses.

Provides ESL and workforce training to Limited English Proficient clients out of the High Point Center. Provides case management, employment and related services to immigrants and refugee residents. In partnership with Literacy Source, a community-based organization, contracted by the City to provide educational services including classroom instruction.

Offers highly successful, integrated ESL classes designed to meet the language needs of the immigrant community. Courses include language, writing, mathematics, reading, history, and science.

Provides morning and evening ESL classes, which teaches beginning and intermediate English skills: speaking, listening, writing, and reading. Students are actively involved in choosing content areas and receive individual attention to assure progress. This program is provided in collaboration with Yakima Valley College. Also offers a Spanish English Intercambio class, which is a 10-week small group where students have guided activities and conversations. Students my choose Tuesday mornings, 9-11am, over morning coffee; or Wednesday evenings, 6-8pm.

Offers English as a second language courses in person and online.

Provides workshops, classes, groups and activities on various topics; such as parenting classes, foster parenting, marriage/divorce issues, at-risk youth, mental health and substance abuse topics, domestic violence, unhealth/unsafe relationships, trauma/abuse care (children & adults), health/nutrition, housing, money management, job development, learning new languages, culture, music/arts, cooking, and independent living skills.

Provides individualized education and case management services for youth who have dropped out or left traditional high school.   Program includes:   -  General Education Development (GED) test preparation -  High school credit recovery -  Math and reading remediation -  Computer skills training -  Life skills training   -  Help entering community or technical college training programs   - Paid and unpaid internships and employment support Focuses on career path education and support.   Provides bus tickets if eligible.
