Programs: - Basic Food Employment and Training (BFET): Training services provide resume writing, interview skills, assistance with starting a career, and job search assistance, BFET provides employment readiness opportunities to Basic Food (SNAP) recipients who are not receiving Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF). - Dislocated Worker (WIOA): Services include career transition counseling, tuition assistance, paid business internships, and on the job training. Workers must be laid off due to no fault of their own and eligible for UI (company closure, downsize, skill no longer in demand, etc.). Special funding and programming is available for those who have lost their jobs due to COVID-19. - Low-Income Adult Services: Provides employment and training services to low-income adults ages 18-72, with a priority to veterans, TANF recipients, those who do not have a HS diploma or GED, and those who are not financially self-sufficient. Services include career exploration, tuition assistance, paid on the job training and internships, emergency support and ongoing counseling through job retention. - Youth Services: Offers paid job & career training, educational assistance, (GED, HS Diploma, Post-Secondary), certification & credential options, job search assistance, tuition assistance, paid work experience for youth 16-24 yrs of age, and are a WA State ID holder & resident. The goal is to help youth identify a career pathway and gain the skills they need to be successful in that pathway. - WorkFirst: Provides parents the opportunity to gain job skills and experience through a variety of work readiness programs, such as the Community Jobs (CJ) and Career Jump. - Quality Jobs, Equity, Strategy, and Training (QUEST): connects individuals most affected by the pandemic—– women, tribal members, people of color, people with disabilities, even lower-wage workers—to quality training and employment. We offer a diverse schedule of in-school and after-school programming designed to support the social and emotional development of our young participants, as well as their educational growth. From academic support to programming that strengthens positive identity and awareness, our programs help our youth reach their full potential. After-School is held throughout the school year.

Provides a program where members can relax after school, make new friends, have fun and interact with positive adult role models.  Facility is equipped with foosball, air hockey, bumper pool and ping-pong tables, Legos, chess, board games, a reading and homework room and a gym for part of the day.  Power Hour matches kids with tutors during an organized homework period and provides study space.   Middle and high school students have their own teen space.   Transportation is provided by most north end public schools.

Staff and trained volunteers provide distance and in-person small group instruction in reading, writing, math, High School + diploma, GED, and/ or academic skills upgrade to prepare for training, college, or work.  Students' goals and priorities are incorporated into instruction. Digital literacy and employability skills are incorporated into instruction. We offer in-person, hybrid in-person and distance, and some distance options. We serve out of school youth age 16yrs and older. If you are under 19, you must have a signed release from the HS or district where you live. We work to provide individualized study plans along with small group experiences in order for students to get a full range of support and encouragement to be on the path to their education, work, and life goals.
