Additionally provides assistance in helping uninsured adults find low-cost dental services.

ABCD focuses on preventive and restorative dental care for Medicaid-eligible children from birth to age five, with emphasis on enrollment by age one. It is based upon the premise that starting dental visits early will yield positive behaviors by both parents and children, thereby helping to control the caries process and reduce the need for costly future restorative work.

Provides pediatric dental referrals. Clients will annually receive 2 dental exams, 3 fluoride applications, and restorative care as needed. Parents will receive two educational sessions in regard to maintaining their children's dental health.

Provide comprehensive dental services to eligible Native Americans within the Health Services Center including emergency dental services, diagnosis, prevention and treatment of injuries, disease or deformities of the teeth, jaw and oral structures; refer to outside dental providers when necessary.

The Oral Health Coordinator for Walla Walla County leads the Oral Health Coalitions with dentists & hygienists, community partners in outreach & referral and early learning partners to improve oral health care and greater access to dental care in Walla Walla, Columbia, Garfield, and Whitman Counties.

Enrolls children in the ABCD dental program. Helps find dentists that will fit location, timing, and language preferences. If needed, coordinates transportation and interpreter services.

Coordinates a network of orthodontist partners that will provide essential orthodontic services, such as braces, to low-income children. Targets children who have moderate-to-severe misalignment of teeth or jaw.

Provides emergency financial assistance for honorably discharged veterans, veterans' widows, and qualified dependents, arranges for mental health and alcohol/drug assessment and treatment at a VA Medical Center. Provides outreach to veterans. Authorized items payable by Snohomish County Vouchers are food and sundries, utilities, medical, transportation (bus), vehicle gas. Other items payable at the discretion of service officer.

Provides dental referral information for people without insurance or covered by Medicaid insurance.  Enrolls Medicaid-eligible children, birth-5 years of age, into Access to Baby and Child Dentistry to find a child-friendly dentist.

Provides various services for children, such as car seat safety checks and car seat discounted fees, Access to Baby and Child Dentistry (ABCD Dental), and Children with Special Health Care Needs (CSHCN). - ABCD provides access to dental care throughout Benton Franklin Counties for children who have WA Apple Health (Medicaid). Provides assistance in finding a dentist that will fit location, timing and language preferences and assists in coordinating transportation and interpreter services. - CSHCN provides care coordination for children with complex health needs, assists families to coordinate care with medical providers, to access local resources for their child, and to understand cope with the child's health condition. - Car seat safety check are also provided at Kadlec Regional Medical Center, 2nd Wednesday of every month. Connects Washington state residents to dental care. Maintains a database of dentists who are accepting new Medicaid patients.

ABCD connects low-income families with dentists who know how to care for young kids, preventing tooth decay early and educating parents about how to take good care of their children's teeth.
