Provides one-on-one support and information about muscular dystrophy, Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS), and related neuromuscular diseases, including clinical trials, care centers, programs, research and advocacy, summer camps, volunteer opportunities and community referrals.

Provides current information on women's health issues both over the phone and on a website. Offers publications on various health topics such as pregnancy, breastfeeding, body image, HIV/AIDS, menopause, quitting smoking and violence against women. Information is available for special populations: minority women, women with disabilities, girls, and men. Referrals can be made to appropriate national health organizations.

Provides confidential information to help people navigate the health system. Offers basic information on a wide range of health topics and makes referrals to local health care services.

Offers Community Educational Services, including health care provider Basic Life Support classes, First Aid classes and a living with diabetes class. Support groups include diabetes support group, caregivers support group and grief support group.

Provides outpatient primary medical care for families, prenatal care, onsite imaging, lab services, health and dental education, massage therapy, and pharmacy. Currently testing for Covid-19.

Provides practical and emotional support services to children and their families who have been affected by childhood cancer. Families are served from diagnosis through treatment, and bereavement through monthly support groups, family activities and events, teen groups, emergency funds, scholarships, and food pantries and meal programs at local hospitals.

Provide activities and events that promote healthy food, gardening, active living and building community within the Salishan neighborhood. Teaches people things they can do to keep their family healthy in ways that make sense culturally. Helps people understand how to prevent or manage chronic diseases such as diabetes and high blood pressure. Helps neighbors understand instructions from their doctors and on their prescriptions. Connects residents with resources and assists with applying for services. Advocates are people who live in the Salishan community and who are trained in various topics related to chronic disease prevention and management. They use their talents, knowledge and skills to improve their own health and to model new healthy behaviors for their friends and families. Advocates come from many languages and cultures including: Spanish, Cambodian, Lao, Vietnamese, Thai, Russian and more.

The Caregiver Support Center offers an opportunity for unpaid caregivers, helping an adult in Kitsap County, to meet with a case manager, check out books from a lending library, and obtain brochures, tip sheets, and resource lists at no cost. Unpaid caregivers may also inquire about scholarship eligibility for caregiver training, education, or workshop opportunities.

Provides support and information on local, county, and state resources to help with food access, housing information, health insurance, aging, youth support, mental health, and financial assistance. Provides access to phone, fax, or computer to complete and submit applications for DSHS related activities. Offers in-person assistance to guide individuals and families, who qualify for Washington Apple Health (Medicaid) through the enrollment process. Help trouble shoot insurance through the Health Plan Finder.
