A health care facility operated by the U.S. government that provides a variety of services and care for eligible Veterans. Health care services at the American Lake center are: - Primary care, - audiology clinics, - cancer program, - caregiver support, - diagnostic imaging, - Urgent Care Services, - Healthy Living classes, - homeless services, - mental health care, - a pharmacy, - rehabilitation care, - specialty care and - women Veteran's health care.

Outpatient Clinics are part of the VA Portland Health Care System. All locations provide non-emergency primary care, laboratory services, and most sites offer mental health services. Other services vary by location. Veterans receiving care at other VA Medical Centers in Clark County and the State of Oregon can ask to transfer to another outpatient clinic.

This program provides Veterans access to health care from non-VA providers if they meet certain eligibility requirements. Using this service will not impact Veterans' current VA health care or benefits.   VA only covers community care for medical needs that have been approved by a VA provider.

Provides primary care, mental health, social work, lab and prescription services to Veterans in Thurston and Lewis County who are eligible for VA medical services.

Offers a 46-bed facility providing general medical and surgical care to eligible veterans. The facility also provides acute inpatient psychiatric care, substance abuse programs, a 30-bed nursing home care unit for rehabilitation, dental, optometric, audiology, physical therapy, and occupational therapy programs. Patient care is delivered by provider teams who follow the patient's care for both outpatient and inpatient treatment.

Offers confidential help for Veterans, service members, and their families at no cost in a non-medical setting. Services include counseling for needs such as depression, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), and the psychological effects of military sexual trauma (MST). Can also connect you with more support in VA and your community.

Care is provided by a team of psychologists, social workers, psychiatrists, nurse practitioners, chaplains, and/or addiction therapists. Welcome all substance use-related treatment goals, and celebrate all changes made in the direction of improved health and wellness.

This program provides community outreach, case management and a range of other services to help homeless Veterans get back on their feet. VBA counselors from the Regional Office visit with Veterans monthly to assist them with filing pensions and disability requests.

Provides help to veterans in accessing VA and community services. Services may include short-term case management, onsite primary care, access to medical, mental health, and substance abuse treatment, and access to VA housing programs, including Grant and Per Diem program, HUD/VASH, Veterans Recovery House and Supportive Service for Veteran Families (SSVF) if found eligible. These grants do not provide immediate assistance, are sometimes one-time, and may include case management. Help with finding market rate or subsidized housing or linkage to community housing programs. Assistance with expediting VA Benefit claims and access to employment programs such as Supported Employment, Veterans Reintegration program, and State employment. Access to computers, clothing, and hygiene items is available onsite.

Provides inpatient, outpatient and primary care; presently offering internal medicine, substance abuse treatment, general surgery, urology, orthopedics, oncology and mental health services. Also provides rehabilitation care through through Rehab Nursing Home Care Unit.
