Operates a hospital-based outpatient clinic with certified sports medicine therapist and orthopedic specialist on staff, who work together to provide a comprehensive session of one-on-one care customized to individual needs. Provides direct access without requiring a physician’s referral. Specialized in hand therapy, vestibular rehabilitation, aquatic therapy and post-surgical rehabilitation.

Physical Therapy: The physical therapist helps to restore motion and function as well as relieve pain after an illness or injury through exercise regiments and the use of specific treatments such as heat, therapy and massage.

Provides application assistance with income-based health insurance programs. Offers low-cost access to mental healthcare for approved and uninsured residents of Orcas Island. Program participants can receive up to 12 counseling sessions for a sliding scale copay of $5–$30 per session. Coordinates community dental clinics for people on Medicaid and those who do not have dental insurance and cannot afford dental care. Healing Arts Center member-practitioners offer discounted health services—including massage, acupuncture, psychotherapy, naturopathy, and more—to island residents facing financial or personal challenges.
