Child Care Subsidies offered by Washington State Department of Children, Youth and Families
Helps families pay for child care while they work or meet WorkFirst participation requirements. Must be at or below 60% SMI. Includes help for those who are seasonally employed in agricultural work.
Provides child care subsidies to low-income families in need. Families receiving the subsidy pay a monthly co-payment based on income.
The Seasonal Child Care program helps eligible families pay for child care while they work in agriculturally related jobs in select counties.
The Homeless Child Care program authorizes four months of full-time care for eligible families as they move into and verify participation in approved activities.
Subsidies may be applied to:
- Licensed or certified child care centers
- Licensed or certified family child care homes
- Relatives who provide care in their own homes
- Adults who come to the client's home to provide care

Grant money is paid directly to the person owed the debt such as a landlord or utility company whenever possible.
Examples of small grants include food, utilities, housing, clothing, health expenses, assistance with child care, vehicle repairs & other routine household expenses, home & vehicle adaption, funeral expenses, adaptive equipment, moving assistance, travel, etc.

Offers financial assistance to cancer patients in urgent need who are within a three-month window of treatment. Cancer patients may be eligible for a one-time grant of up to $450 to help with expenses including the following:

Provides a subsidy of 25 to 70% of the city's average child care cost for eligible parents who are employed or working towards their first degree.
CCAP covers partial cost of child care paid directly to the City of Seattle contracted child care home and center providers.
Eligible families will be authorized for 12 month vouchers.

The Resource Access Team is a multifunctional customer service team within the Department of Community and Human Services that will serve as a centralized information and resource referral system, making it easier for residents of King County to access the services they need. The Resource Access Team aims to help residents connect to resources, navigate services, or bridge short-term financial gaps.
The Resource Access Team may provide financial assistance to King County residents to help them gain or retain employment, support educational goals leading to employment, or meet basic needs, including but not limited to food, healthcare, shelter, childcare, transportation and safety. Resource Access Financial Assistance is intended for emergent or one-time situations and not intended for recurrent or regular needs.
The Resource Access Team does not provide rental assistance.
