Crisis outreach professionals are skilled in working with individuals to reduce distress and develop a plan to safely resolve the crisis at hand. Next steps may include identification of resources, mobilization of primary support systems (friends, family, other professionals), and providing access to outpatient services. May also include a face to face assessment to determine if there is need for hospitalization to expedite treatment, and ensure safety.

Screens for Take Charge program which covers sexual/reproductive health related services including birth control, emergency contraception, sterilization for both men and women, and education and supplies for contraceptives, natural family planning and abstinence.

Operates a crisis intervention suicide hotline. Trained phone workers assist caller in personal crises by offering emotional support, community resource information, and referral.

Deaf services clinicians provide comprehensive, evidence-based treatment addressing mental health and substance use disorders to King County children, adults and families. Offers direct access to care in sign language and understands the unique needs of people who are Deaf, hard of hearing or Deafblind. For children and adolescents who are exhibiting problems of mood, behavior or adjustment. Child Mental Health Specialists work with children individually, in groups, and in the context of their families to improve behaviors, promote positive change and strengthen families' connections with ongoing community supports. Provides primary care behavioral health services for children and adults. A team of health consultants use behavioral science to help patients develop a plan to improve their overall health, as well as to support them in living a meaningful life.

Adult Day Support offers a supportive environment for skill building for those with serious and persistent mental health needs. Social skills, interpersonal skills, employment and daily living skills are included. Recovery supports, lunch, laundry and showers are also available.

Does not provide court evaluations. Assessments are designed to enroll clients into on-going mental health services and therefore cannot be guaranteed to meet their specific court requirements.

Provides a broad spectrum of counseling services to adult clients who have mental health issues. Helps clients reduce or manage their mental health symptoms by improving their coping and daily living skills. Services include individual, family, and group therapy, as well as community support services. Intensive outpatient services are available for those with severe and persistent behavioral health disorders to avoid more restrictive levels of service such as psychiatric inpatient hospitalization or residential placement. Once enrolled, the treatment team is available at any time and especially in crisis situations to support individualized treatment needs.
