CPWI is a community and school-based model for delivering prevention programs and strategies to reduce underage misuse and abuse of alcohol, marijuana, opioids, tobacco, and other drugs. Addresses the threats of commercial tobacco and vaping use to raise awareness about the harmful and life-threatening effects of tobacco, exposure to secondhand smoke and the impact of vaping among youth and young adults in the Latino community. Promotes and refers information to prevent youth from starting to use marijuana. Educates Latino parents, care givers and other influential adult engagement in youth marijuana prevention.
