Provides a monthly TBI support group for anyone with any type of TBI, including acquired brain injuries from strokes, brain bleeds, etc., as well as those who had head trauma. Offers library information, educational classes, as well as connections to outside resources, like the Brian Injury Alliance of WA.

Provides various support groups and services in Yakima County. - Women Supporting Women: Provides a support group for all women who are living with cancer, whether newly diagnosed, currently in treatment, or completed cancer surgery and treatment. - Young Women's CANcer Support: Provides group support in the evening for women juggling a cancer diagnosis, treatment, family, work and other demands placed on this unique group of survivors. - Bereavement Support Group: Weekly support group open to anyone who has suffered a loss for any reason.  The members try to collectively help each other through the various stages of grieving and grow through the loss. - Cancer Peer Mentors (Women): Cancer survivors provide support and hope to newly diagnosed women.  Peer Mentors have completed a comprehensive educational program and are available for communication and support. - Crisis Care and Counseling: Offers assistance through staff and volunteers for crisis needs. Helps individuals who are going through a crisis situation by listening, assessing their needs, connecting them to other resources, and providing follow-up support. - Empowerment through Pain - Tools, support & guidance in understanding and living well with chronic pain. - Finding Joy: Classes focus on a variety of philosophies and techniques of self-help to encourage the practice of looking for Joy in everyday life. - Group Grief & Loss Support for Miscarriage or Stillbirth (RTS): Little Wings provides grief and loss support for parents who have lost a child due to miscarriage or stillbirth. - Women's Empowerment Group: Provides a free support group for women experiencing depression, anxiety or just feel stuck in their life. - Trauma Support Group - The group is designed to provide support, encouragement and healing to those who have experienced traumatic events. - Lymphatic Flow Chair Exercise Classes - Cancer Survivor Nutrition - Osteopathic Manipulation: In Partnership with PNWU Scholars Program and Supervised by O.D.s, - Hands That Heal: Reflexology and other techniques to support your mind, body and spirit. - Healing Threads: Group for anyone who wants to spend time with others while working on any needlework project; no experience necessary. The group promotes healing, community service, and connecting with others to end feelings of isolation. - Navigation Services: Provides navigation services to local resources for families and individuals needing assistance—open to anyone. Offers information and referrals to local agencies. - Lending Library: Offers books, videos, audio, and periodicals to anyone seeking information on a particular illness or health topic. - Caregiver Support - Men's Cancer Support Group/Co-Ed Cancer Support Groups will return as demand increases. Community members and professionals wishing to start a group in alignment with Wellness House's mission are welcome to call. - Suicide Survivors Support Group will resume as needed. - Traumatic Brain Injury Support for Patients and Caregivers. - Spanish language support for crisis counseling, the Cancer Care Boutique, and translation services for our other supports.

Supports families affected by spinal muscular atrophy (SMA) through networking and information services. Services include: - Information packets, care packages, and phone support for families with newly diagnosed children with SMA. - A medical equipment pool, which loans equipment such as adaptive strollers, bath chairs, car beds, modified vests, feeder seats, standers, and wheelchairs. - Connection to local Cure SMA chapters that provide advocacy, awareness, support, and events for families affected by SMA. - Education for health professionals and the public.

Coordinates a response to the earliest cases of HIV/AIDS in the Walla Walla Valley. Helps provide support services to people living with HIV/AIDS, their partners, families, and friends. Outreach and community education about domestic violence is provided to employers, law enforcement personnel, health care and human service providers.   Also coordinates with Eastside services and systems to help keep the issues of domestic violence in the forefront of the community.

Provides community education classes, such as defensive driving, parenting skills, and theft awareness. - Online ​Parenting Classes: this 8 hour parenting skills class is an online course designed to enhance parenting techniques to better meet the developmental needs of children as they grow. This course is offered in both Spanish and English. Topics covered include; raising the next generation, parenting basics, what children need, role modeling, child neglect and abuse, and what children deserve. - Defensive Driving Class: probation services offers defensive driving courses. The focus of our defensive driving course is to assist participants in discovering how their values and attitudes affect their driving behavior. Participants will learn how to make positive choices about their driving behavior. The objective of the defensive driving course is to educate participants about law abiding behavior and safe driving. The online option allows students to conveniently complete the course on their own time while not affecting their school or work schedule. Course is available in person and online. - Theft Awareness Class: this class is designed for a variety of relatively minor theft offenses. Participants are encouraged to develop a personal commitment plan to avoid future theft-related problems and/or arrest. Course is offered in both English & Spanish. Available online and in person. - Online Anger Management Classes: Provides educational opportunities for people who are interested in or who need to learn how to deal with their anger in a positive, functional way.

Provides support and education for those affected by leukemia, lymphoma, or myeloma. Services include: - Listings for family and patient support groups - Patti Robinson Kaufmann First Connection Program: matches patients and their loved ones with trained peer volunteers who have experienced a similar cancer diagnosis - An online support community - Community-based education programs for patients, their families, caregivers, and health care professionals

Provides monthly type 1 diabetes support group for adults and kids in Wenatchee. Topics include: coping with day-to-day management; understanding and managing highs and lows; dealing with feelings of anger, guilt, frustration, and self-worth, understanding insulin needs and how food and physical activity can affect these needs; learning about new technologies for the management of diabetes.

Coordinates educational activities and recruits volunteers. Presenters are available to speak about issues of domestic violence, sexual assault, crisis intervention, and more. People with good communication skills and an interest in working with people are invited to volunteer. Volunteers are given training and supervision to prepare them to work in the areas of domestic violence or sexual assault.

Provides educational programs as well as presentations to community agencies, organizations, and groups about LGBTQIA2S+ issues. PFLAG is not religiously or politically affiliated with anyone and as such provides a safe place for everyone to learn and discuss topics where they're at.

Provides an interactive presentation change attitudes, assumptions and ideas about people with mental health conditions. These free, 40-, 60- or 90-minute presentations provide a personal perspective of mental health conditions, as leaders with lived experience talk openly about what it's like to have a mental health condition. This presentation provides: - An opportunity to hear open and honest perspectives on a highly misunderstood topic - A chance to ask leaders questions, allowing for a deeper understanding of mental health conditions and dispelling of stereotypes and misconceptions - The understanding that people with mental health conditions have lives enriched by hopes, dreams and goals - Information on how to learn more about mental health and get involved with the mental health community.

Provides general information about University of Washington research and administrative issues, including application requirements and procedures.

Provides a primary prevention program for sexual assault, violence, and crimes. Also provides community presentations, which are offered in an age appropriate manner and are directed toward the prevention of sexual violence.

Provides several support groups to help focus on issues surrounding sexual assault.   Support groups include:  - Teen Girl's Group - GROW (Women's Group)  Finding Your Voice (Adult Group). Beyond Survival can also provide referrals to therapists that treat sexual assault issues.  There may be some financial assistance available for direct or indirect victims who are uninsured, or underinsured.

Volunteer Hospice of Clallam County offers Community Education addressing end of life issues: philosophy of hospice, our attitudes toward death, legal and funeral considerations, and the grieving process. VHOCC also offers practical workshops on how to live alone after the death of a spouse or partner. Open to anyone in the community, these community education sessions are an opportunity to prepare for end of life, whether for a loved one or for oneself.
