Builds healthy Navy families and sustains a strong Navy community through comprehensive approaches in prevention, intervention and training for individuals, families, and commands.     - **Counseling Program** - individual, couple and family counseling for active duty, retirees (space available) and their families.    - **Family Advocacy Program**  offers an opportunity for individuals and families to learn how to better handle issues of violence within relationships and families.     - **Victim Advocacy Program** offers confidential support and assistance for victims of domestic violence.     - **New Parent Support Program** - primary prevention program designed to assist new parents with regard to issues surrounding newborns, parenting, and family relationships. Parenting Program offers classes that address parenting issues such as: childbirth education, baby basics, communicating with children, and parenting.     - **Prevention Programs** focus on building healthy relationships, effective child rearing, promoting personal well being and addressing issues of domestic violence. Prevention programs are available to commands and groups as requested as well as ongoing programs addressing anger management, keeping children safe and stress management.    - **SAPR** - Sexual Assault Prevention and Response Program - Offers support and assistance and assistance to victims of sexual assault.

Short-term counseling is available for individuals, couples and families.  Assistance is provided for a variety of personal issues including relationships, separations, adjustments, parenting, communication, stress, anger, violence, abuse, crisis and other concerns.  Appropriate referrals are provided when long-term counseling is indicated.

The HUD-VASH program is a collaborative effort between the U.S Department of Housing and Urban Development and the U.S Department of Veteran Affairs Supported Housing program to help homeless veterans and their immediate families to find and maintain affordable, safe, and permanent housing in the community.

Support for injured, wounded, and critically ill Service members. Convenient for Service members in transition and their families. Offers information, referral, follow up, financial and education counseling. The SFAC also provides military human resources, Service member for life transition assistance program (ACAP), Child youth and school services (CYSS), and veteran services (Washington Department of Veteran Affairs).

Supplements center based services: this program - informs, - educates, - supports and assists Service members (Active, Guard and Reserve), and their Families who are geographically or socially isolated from a military installation.

Offers long-term support to surviving Family members: - conducts research focus groups, - provides information and referral services, - relocation support financial planning, and - money and debt management.

Conducts assessments with individuals and families; provides assistance and referrals to the appropriate program or agency. Maintains an extensive resource file of local public, private and voluntary service agencies and organizations to assist individuals and families with getting assistance. Referral for WIC and food assistance.

Provides budget development, education and guidance to help Service members and their families achieve personal financial readiness. Offers classes on financial planning, money management, credit, insurance, and consumer rights.

The Veterans Resource Center provides critical services and support to our service members, veterans and their families as we assist with their transition from the military to higher education and the use of their VA Educational Benefits. We offer assistance with admissions, academic advising, and processing of VA Educational Benefits.

Offers personal and family readiness training (Family Care Plans). Provides individual and unit pre-deployment, rear detachment, reunion and reintegration training. Hosts Children and Deployment workshops and offers Care Team training.

Offers support and assistance for Service members and Family members with special needs. This may include referral to: - community resources and assistance, - education, - training and recreational activities, - help with the special needs accommodation process, - and EFMP support groups.

Offers a tool box of resources to work with military families on personal issues that require guidance on a case-by-case basis. Families are referred to the appropriate community services for assistance. There are Family Assistance Specialists stationed throughout the state, at local armories. Offers support for the Military Spouse through social opportunities and training in Military culture, leadership and personal growth.   Solicits suggestions annually to improve specific programs within the Military or at the installation level.

Supplements existing Family program to support Service members and their families. Provides confidential short term, situational and problem-solving counseling services. Offers educational presentations, briefings and services to help prepare for the issues surrounding deployment, mobilization, post-deployment, and reunion.
