Provides free enrollment assistance in health insurance plans, including dental and Medicare. Assists with all plans available on the Healthplanfinder. January 1 2024 was the first policies in Washington State for health insurance regardless of immigration status. Assists with initial enrollment, education, and selection of Medicare Supplements, Medicare Advantage, and Medicare Drug Plans. Also assists clients with questions throughout the year.

SHIBA is a free, unbiased, and confidential counseling and education services sponsored by the WA State Office of the Insurance Commissioner.

Provides application assistance with income-based health insurance programs. Offers low-cost access to mental healthcare for approved and uninsured residents of Orcas Island. Program participants can receive up to 12 counseling sessions for a sliding scale copay of $5–$30 per session. Healing Arts Center member-practitioners offer discounted health services—including massage, acupuncture, psychotherapy, naturopathy, and more—to island residents facing financial or personal challenges.
