Provides support services for caregivers caring for veterans, including a support line, peer support, and respite care.    Provides additional assistance to primary family caregivers of eligible post-9/11 veterans and servicemembers. Services include: -  Monthly stipend -  Travel expenses (including lodging and per diem while accompanying Veterans undergoing care) -  Access to health care insurance (if the caregiver is not already entitled to care or services under a health care plan) -  Mental health services and counseling -  Comprehensive VA caregiver training provided by Easter Seals

Services available throughout the county include: -  Referrals to local support groups, counseling, and other resources. -  Training on specific caregiving topics. -  Advice on the  use of supplies and equipment. -  Practical information and caregiving suggestions. -  Respite care

Bilingual and bicultural social workers provide support services for family caregivers. Offers:  -  Information and referral -  Case management -  Needs assessment -  Service plan development -  Consultation -  Caregiver education and counseling -  Respite care services including housekeeping and errands , personal care. Information and resources support. Services may be delivered through phone, office/home visits or other venues.

Provides case management, support and referral services for unpaid family caregivers of African-American adults. Caregiver support services may include:   -  Individualized comprehensive needs assessments and develop care plans -  In-home or office visits within King county -  Referrals to support groups, counseling and other resources -  Limited respite for the caregiver

Services available through the Caregiver Support Program can include: •Emergency in-home respite – a one-time award of 24 hours to be used within 30 days. Services are in 4 or 8-hour shifts and subject to approval by Crisis Connections eligibility criteria. •In-home, ongoing weekly respite services of up to 8 hours per week (4-hour minimum shifts), which is offered on a sliding scale. Respite can assist with personal care such as bathing, dressing, toileting, and overall supervision. •Up to 12 hours per month of free housekeeping and errands services (if you choose not to use respite services). •Caregiver counseling – up to 6 free 50-minute sessions by video or phone to focus on YOU and gain emotional support, coping skills, stress management and self-care techniques. •Limited financial assistance to purchase items that increase care receiver independence and reduce caregiver stress (based on eligibility and funding). •General caregiver & family consultations •Connection to classes and support groups including Powerful Tools for Caregivers •Referral to other community resources like Senior Centers, Meals on Wheels, Senior Rights Assistance.

Offers ongoing, personalized support for individuals living with dementia and their caregivers. Clients are connected with a dedicated Care Navigator who will develop a customized care plan, help access tools and resources, and provide regular monthly check-ins. Care Navigators can meet with individuals and caregivers separately to ensure each person receives the tailored support they need. Services include disease education, caregiver training, emotional support, and practical guidance, all provided virtually. Complements client's existing healthcare team and is appropriate for those just starting to explore questions about memory loss as well as those navigating later-stage or end-of-life dementia care.

Links grandparents and other relative caregivers to: - support groups, - resources, - provides education, - increases access and - offers case management along with financial support. Financial support is in the form of: - rental and utility assistance, - funds for purchases of bedding, furniture, - clothing, - food, - car repairs, - gas/bus vouchers and - medications for the child. Women gain access to numerous resources, from connecting with other women to educational learning curriculum, to subject matter experts to an online community forum to ask questions and engage in peer-to-peer learning and support.
