Provides a central contact point for people looking for help with a variety of needs.  Love INC screens the callers to determine the needs and mobilizes local churches to help provide assistance. Services depend on the ministries available through the churches in the networks. Assistance may include services such as firewood, minor home repairs, children's clothing, etc. If there are requests for assistance that are not covered by any existing ministries, Love INC helps to develop gap ministries to help with unmet needs. Love INC also works collaboratively with local businesses, agencies and school districts to assist with the needs of our community.

Offers volunteer opportunities in the following areas: questionnaire preparation, help create a Resident Advisory Board for the Yakima Housing Authority by gauging interest trough interviews and questionnaires, office assistance, and assist Yakima Housing Authority with data entry, filling, and organizing.

The Habitat Store is a new and used building materials store operated by Habitat for Humanity of Kitsap County. Local businesses, contractors, or others needing more shelf space donate items to the store, and in turn, we sell the items at a discount rate. Items are sold at an average 75%-95% off retail price. High quality items are recycled instead of being thrown into a landfill. 100% of the profits support the work of Habitat. You can come by and shop or even get involved in the operation. Volunteers provide invaluable service to the store and work a variety of jobs. Material donations can be made two main ways. Drop your item off at the store or call the store and have them pick your item up.

Thrift Store. Proceeds from sales of donated items help fund the food bank and client services.  Offers clothing jewelry, housewares, linens, shoes, books, supplies, and many other items.

Habitat for Humanity works in partnership with people in need to build and renovate decent, affordable housing. The houses are then sold to those in need. Volunteers provide most of the labor, and individual and corporate donors provide money and materials to build Habitat houses. Partner families themselves invest hundreds of hours of labor "sweat equity" into building their homes and the homes of others. Their mortgage payments go into a revolving Fund for Humanity that is used to build more houses. We need three different kinds of volunteers: On-site construction helpers, SHFH Store workers, Committee members.

There are opportunities to learn new skills, or use existing ones, working alongside a Habitat Family to build a decent and affordable place for them to call home. Help out in our Habitat Stores, share your office and clerical skills with us, or serve on a committee or our board of directors.

Accepts donations for time, money, and goods. Accepts donations for supplies including baby items, children's needs, gas vouchers, blankets, personal care items, emergency food, camping supplies, including tents, sleeping bags, etc. Does not accept furniture or large household items. All donations are accepted and will be dispersed among other local non-profits if we cannot find a need.

The Serenity Thrift Store, located in Sequim, sells gently used items at reasonable prices. You can find a large assortment of furniture, clothes, jewelry, collectibles, antiques and household goods, as well as holiday gifts and unusual, hard-to-locate items. On occasion, items such as automobiles, RVs and special collectibles are available. Revenue from the Serenity Store funds Serenity House activities that are not fully funded by grants, such as the family shelter. This store has three departments: the main store, the furniture showcase, and the appliance center. Pick up of large item donations can only be facilitated for donations from Sequim at this time. Please call to arrange pick up if needed.

Provides opportunities in a variety of areas for persons wishing to volunteer their time or serve an internship.  Volunteer options include food bank work, information and referral phone work, mediation, Early Childhood Development Support, other emergency services, and fundraising and public relations support.

Sells gently used furniture, housewares, antiques, and collectables. One hundred percent of the funds raised from the Habitat Store support Habitat's mission to build and repair homes and hope. New items arrive daily. The Habitat Store also helps volunteers gain basic employment experience. Volunteer opportunities include sales, pricing/sorting, display/decorating/cleaning, maintenance, and donation pick up/unloading.

Operates three thrift stores around Yakima supplying clothing and household items for low cost for clients in need at YUGM. All other donated items get sold to raise money to support the work on the Yakima Union Gospel Mission. These stores are designed to give a warm shopping experience with great deals for our community and convenient drop off locations for those wishing to donate their gently used items. Offers a variety of volunteer activities, including: Citizen Patrol, which includes disabled parking enforcement, radar speed checks, Park and Ride lot patrol, stolen vehicle search, and other non-hazardous patrol duties. Clerical or data processing work: for those who prefer an office environment. Project Care Track: which provides electronic transmitter bracelets to help us quickly locate and rescue those with a tendency to wander, such as people suffering from Alzheimer’s, Down Syndrome, Autism, and other conditions. Crime prevention activities: including Kid Care ID, and participation at events such as National Night Out and the Evergreen State Fair.

Operates a store that sells discontinued or gently used building materials and other merchandise. Also accepts donations of new, used, or surplus merchandise The proceeds from The Habitat Store go to building more affordable housing for deserving families. Habitat homeowners contribute volunteer hours to the building of their homes, providing not only an affordable mortgage and a safe, decent place to live, but also hope and personal dignity for their families.

Summit has volunteer opportunities for volunteer puppy raisers and sitters.

Provides clothing, household goods, furniture (including appliances when available) for homes.Call or visit website for donation pickup. Accepts most items, even items other charities will not accept, including running vehicles.

Provides a website to help local nonprofits & people with an interest in volunteering come together for the betterment of our shared community.

Offers furniture to Thurston County residents who are transitioning into permanent housing. Ministry picks-up and delivers new or gently used mattresses and other needed furniture on Saturdays. All deliveries are based on availability. Ministry is not responsible for any furniture being delivered once items have been accepted by the client. Ministry accepts donations from the community and will schedule accordingly based on location.

Organizes several fundraising opportunities throughout the year. Funds raised supplement operating costs, but also provides an opportunity to network with other agencies/donors and update partners on the organization's activities. Includes a Silent Auction Night, and two Community Yard Sales (vendors welcome - call for pricing).

Seeking volunteers who are doctors, nurses, office staff, and interpreters to help meet the medical needs of the community. Doctors include - MD, DO, NP, FNP, ARNP or PA. Nurses include - RN, LPN, MA or CNA. Other positions are available as well, visit the website for more information.

Volunteers help local families build strength, stability and self-reliance.

Connects volunteers with opportunities at nonprofit organizations that match their schedules and interests. Volunteers can do service once or participate in long-term projects with more than 400 different agencies.

Assists qualifying families in building or repairing homes through a volunteer organization. The process includes a credit check and meeting income guidelines. An agreement is made to help build or repair the applicant's home as well as other Habitat homes.
