Provides mental health services by professionals who are registered or certified to children and their families. After an initial assessment and determination of need for ongoing help, core mental health services available at CCS include individual and/or family counseling/therapy, medication evaluation/management and coordination with primary care physicians, and case management.

Provides therapeutic services, such as counseling for individuals, couples, and families and various forms of therapy to help cope with emotional distress. Individual Counseling: Treats depression, post-partum depression, anxiety, post-traumatic stress disorder, bipolar, disorder, obsessive compulsive disorder, schizophrenia and psychosis, substance related and addiction, insomnia, behavioral disturbance, adjustment disorder, sexuality challenges, eating disorders, grief and loss, coping with life's stressors, coping with change, coping with chronic illness, stress management, work, and career issues. Couples and Family Therapy: Issues typically worked on with couples and families are pre-marital counseling, grief and loss, parenting support, negotiating life changes, processing family trauma, conflict resolution, improving communication, building inter-familial support and cohesiveness, building bonds and attachments, increasing awareness into family dynamics, pre and post-adoption home studies, pre and post adoption support. Theoretical Orientation: Some of the theories and practices used with patients are cognitive behavioral therapy, cognitive processing therapy, eye movement desensitization and reprocessing, trauma focused cognitive behavioral therapy, narrative therapy, family behavioral therapy, behavioral marital therapy, behavioral activation, lifestyle modification, emotion-focused therapy, cognitive adaptation training, acceptance and commitment therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, exposure therapy/ systematic desensitization, mindfulness based stress reduction, relaxation and grounding, motivational interviewing, interpersonal psychotherapy transactional analysis, reality therapy, individual and family psychoeducation, reminiscence and life review for grief and depression, crisis intervention, rational-emotive behavioral therapy, gestalt, gottman method, safe care, play therapy, art therapy, theraplay, family systems therapy, conscious discipline, social learning and social skills training.

Family Preservation Services Provides family-focused, behavior-oriented, in-home counseling, and support to youth who are at substantial risk of placement or for children returning to the home from out-of-home care. Services provided include: ​ - Crisis Stabilization –services delivered by Professional Staff that are short-term, acute, and use an active and systematic approach to stabilization. - Engagement – activates aligned with the principles and skills associated with Motivational Interviewing. - Parenting Strategies –helping and teaching parents and caregivers to learn and use the skills they specifically need to safely parent their children. ​ - Family Resources - Engaging families to strengthen parent advocacy, identify personal growth opportunities, and identify accessible and supportive natural supports and community resources that directly support child safety in the home. The Positive Parenting Program (Triple P) Provides professional level services to improve family functioning to promote the child’s or adolescent’s health, safety, well-being, and welfare, supporting the family to remain intact and allow children to remain or return home. The benefits of this program include: - Increased appropriate parenting skills. - Increased appropriate parental discipline and behavior management. - Improved parent-child relationship. - Decreased child behavior problems. Promoting First Relationships Provides early support for infants and toddlers​ up to the age of three years old who have been diagnosed with a physical or mental condition that has a high probability of resulting in developmental delays. Families eligible for this program will receive services to strengthen the following capabilities and skills for their children including: - Cognitive delays. - Physical (fine or gross motor) delays. ​ - Communication (receptive or expressive language) delays. ​ - Social or Emotional delays. - Adaptive delays. In-home Family Therapy and Counseling Services Performed by licensed professionals and are delivered consistent with cognitive behavioral treatment modalities. Therapy and counseling services are focused on the needs of the family as they directly relate to child safety. Benefits of these services include: - Support for a family managing difficult child and teenage behaviors, including monitoring and safety concerns. - Family discipline support for caregivers in monitoring pre/teenage youth. - Support for moderate to high family conflict, youth is displaying some high risk behaviors. - Support with adolescent behavior problems including self-destructive behavior and provoking dangerous reactions in caregiver.

Provides several services to those who need behavioral health help, especially to those with co-occurring disorders. Services include: - Mental health assessment - Psychotherapy (including individual and group) - Family counseling - Suicide prevention - Depression and mood disorders treatment - Outpatient mental health - Integrated behavioral health - Personality disorders treatment - Senior psychiatry and - Case Management. Individual psychotherapy for adults and adolescents via telehealth. Focuses on various topics including; anxiety, depression, trauma/PTSD, addiction, general life stressors, intimate partner violence, parenting.

Provides intensive, short-term (3-5 months) home, school, and community-based services to adolescents and their families who are experiencing family conflicts, troubles in school, contact with juvenile justice system, mental health issues, anti-social behavior, and/or are or have been involved with Child Welfare. Designed to build improved positive relationships, improved school functioning, and decrease negative behavior and involvement with the legal system. Provides the client and family services 24 hours per day, 7 days per week, when and where those services are needed. Program may involve family therapy, marital therapy, individual treatment, case management, crisis stabilization, psychiatric medication, evaluations of the youth's peer network, consultation with schools and other service providers, and liaison activities with the schools, courts, and mental health providers. Agency provides state-certified service(s).

Mental Health Counseling services available to children ages 5-12 and adults at no charge. Counseling is provided by licensed mental health providers and clinical social workers.

Integrated approach to delivering care means that primary care physicians, specialized nurse practitioners, and professional counselors bring a team-based and collaborative approach to meeting the needs of individuals and families.

Offers sex therapy and help navigating sexuality and gender identity and transitions. Provides treatment to individuals and families related to problematic internet and gaming behaviors. Multi-service family support program offers outpatient mental health services for children and families. Services include case management, brief intervention treatment, less restrictive alternative support and family, group and individual therapy.  Agency provides DBHR-certified service(s).
