Offers morning English classes to Spanish-speakers beginning mid-September through May of every school year. Teaches levels 1-3; call for more information on times and days. Participants with children from ages 2 to 5 years receive free preschool education during the classes.

Connects directly with individuals on a one-on-one basis to assess and address the needs of each individual, and to provide services according to the need. Programs include: Community Garden ( helps needy people with seeds and plants to grow at home); Benefit Services (assists with applying for SSI/SSDI, Veterans benefits, SNAP, referrals to shelters, and other services); firewood for those whose only resource is wood for cooking and heating; free ESL classes; clothing for children and families in need; computer lab; basic computer classes to learn internet skills, word, and email; and Spirit of Giving Fest, which is a free holiday meal, including caroling and games for children.

Classes are offered both day and evening on the main campus, at the New Holly Learning Center, and on the Georgetown campus.

Provides naturalization assistance to city of Seattle residents. Students enrolled in the program can receive job search assistance and individual tutoring as well.

Adult High School Completion: High school diploma program designed for adult learners that encourages lifelong learning and prepares students to transition into I-BEST or other college programs to further training and education or to acquire family-wage jobs. Open Doors: Youth reengagement program for students ages 16-21 who are credit deficient and not expected to graduate on time. Partners with local school districts to provide educational opportunities that are outside of the traditional high school system.

Offers a multicultural academic program in partnership with the Seattle World School (SWS). Helps recent-arrival students from diverse countries increase their skills in math and English, while understanding and appreciating theirs and each other's cultures. Students may earn credit towards graduation for attending summer school during the months of July and August.

Provides ESL classes for those wishing to learn or improve their English proficiency. Offers Levels 1 and 2, provided by teachers from Seattle College quarterly. Classes help address language barriers to obtaining employment, citizenship, and in everyday life. Classes are online only at this time.

Offers day and evening classes for adults whose predominant language is not English.   These classes stress the basic communication skills of listening, speaking, reading and writing. Students are assessed at entry and placed in a class consistent with their goals. ESL classes are offered in the morning, afternoon, and evening at various times and locations.   Online or hybrid options may be available.

Our employment and adult education services connect community members with meaningful employment at livable wages and other opportunities to build critical skills. Employment case managers and economic empowerment coaches help set goals and viable steps to achieve them. We also team up with local community colleges and other partners to connect individuals to vocational training, internship programs, and help with job placement.

Case managers provide assistance in accessing basic and emergency resources, naturalization assistance, individual ESL instruction, public benefits application procedures. Provides Obama Healthcare and WA Apple Health ( Medicaid) health advocacy. Assists clients in applying for unemployment benefits and SNAP/EBT. Intensive case management services assist immigrants and refugees in overcoming barriers to self-sufficiency that are caused by difficulty in accessing and appropriately utilizing the health and human service systems. Home visits are available.
