The program supports clients with improving quality of life, help managing multiple care providers, assistance in getting appointments, identifying helpful community resources, connecting to available benefits.

CHAS Health Patient Services Coordinators (PSCs) are available to help individuals enroll in health insurance and understand their coverage. PSCs are certified navigators for the Washington Health Plan Finder, and enrollment counselors for Your Health Idaho state health insurance marketplaces. PSCs help individuals apply for Medicaid, Qualified Health Plans, and other applicable assistance programs.

Provides free, unbiased and confidential help with Medicare and health care choices through bilingual staff and SHIBA volunteers. - Assesses client’s health care coverage needs - Determines general eligibility for health care coverage programs - Evaluate and compare Medicare plans - Assists with Medicare enrollment. Collects and report potential Medicare fraud complaints, ensuring that Medicare beneficiaries are protected from fraudulent activities related to Medicare.

Explains the differences and options available for those on Medicare. Explain Medicare Advantage, Medicare Supplements Prescription Drug Plans (Part D). Medicare A & B. Medical and Dental. Apply for various programs a person is eligible for such as Medicare Savings Program (Part B paid) and Extra Help with Prescription Drugs. Also apply and explain health insurance on the WA Healthplan Finder.

The Aging and Disability Resource Center provides support to unpaid family caregivers through information, support, and services. Can assist with connecting to local resources and services, education and training opportunities to increase caregiver skills, provide free assessment of caregivers stresses and burdens, and help develop a plan of care to help the unpaid family caregiver thrive while caregiving.

Screening and application assistance for the Medicare Savings Program and/or Low Income Subsidy or "Extra Help" Programs (the two programs which help pay for Medicare Parts A, B and D costs). Medicare specialists assist eligible recipients with paperwork required by the Social Security Administration and/or Washington State Healthcare Authority.
