Provides a food bank for residents of Jefferson County.

Provides clients with incentives to learn life skills as they earn "Baby Bucks" to spend in the "Baby Boutique" on items they need. Once enrolled, a client works with an advocate to choose a curriculum that fits their needs and interests.  Clients earn "Baby Bucks" while they learn how to be better parents.   There are programs available in financial planning, relationship building and communications tools. Available resources includes: layettes, diapers, wipes, clothing - sizes infant to 2T,  car seats, cribs and baby furniture.

Will deliver fresh produce, vegetables, meats, and dry food based on availability to households in need. Will deliver diapers, detergents, and hygiene products based on availability. Depends on volunteers and donations to help those households.

Accepts food and clothing for adults, children and babies for distribution to clients of the Union Gospel Mission.    Kent location also accepts:   -  Office supplies -  Small appliances and electronics -  Cleaning supplies -  Kitchenware -  Videos and DVDs -  Reading materials -  Toys    Offers tax receipts for all donations.

Visitors get two full visits per month, and a supplemental visit once per week. Offers free, healthy and well-balanced meals, 365 days a year. Breakfast and dinner are provided every day of the week and lunch on Saturday and Sunday. Serves all low-income and homeless individuals in the community - both residents and non-residents of the Mission.

Serves over 200 people a free, hot breakfast on Sunday mornings at 8:15am. Served by congregational and local volunteers.

Operates a food pantry for people in need. Provides a variety of food including fresh produce and dairy projects. Appointments are required to shop, but food boxes are available for those without appointments. Delivers food twice a month.

Provides food distribution for families every Saturday. Emergency bags of food may provided during the week for those experiencing a temporary crisis, but does not deliver.

Operates a small food pantry. Any individual can come in and get a small bag of food which is to get them through until the next hot meal at the Mission is available. Anyone wanting more food is referred to the local food bank.

Provides food to anyone with no requirements. Goal is to provide healthy and filling food including meat, dairy, canned food, bread and fresh fruits and vegetables. Operates as a ministry of the Neighborhood Christian Center.

Accepts year-round donations of non-perishable food, unused personal hygiene products, new or gently used linens, blankets, towels, pillows, adult winter clothing, coats, shoes, underwear, socks and books.

The food bank is open to all who are in need of food. It's a volunteer program with a director and an assistant managing the volunteer base needed to run three shifts per week. The UP Food Bank has been operating for over 20 years.
