Delivers meals to the homes of homebound elderly and disabled persons throughout the greater Spokane Valley area during the work week. Frozen meals are provided for the weekends and liquid nutrition is also available.

Meals on Wheels provides hot, nutritious meals to elderly individuals living within the Spokane City limits who are homebound, unable to provide or prepare nutritious meals.

Volunteers deliver free non-perishable meal kits that require cooking. Also offers delivery of hygiene products, toilet paper, and feminine hygiene products. Bus passes are also offered at no cost.

Delivers meals to older adults in King County. Provides a choice of 30 plus different meals including breakfast, kosher, vegan, and vegetarian. Additionally, some meals are low in saturated fat, low cholesterol, and low sodium. Seven meals can be ordered per week and are delivered once a week. Liquid nutritional supplements (Ensure and Glucerna) are available for purchase. Meals arrive frozen and packaged in trays that can be heated in either a microwave or conventional oven. Service begins approximately 1 to 2 weeks after agency receives the application.

The Welcome Home program is a limited, four-week program for people being discharged from the hospital. Clients receive fourteen medically tailored meals within forty-eight hours of hospital discharge; meals are delivered for four weeks. Clients are also offered nutrition services with a Registered Dietician (RDN) during this time period. Welcome Home meals assist clients in their medical recovery, decrease hospital re-admissions, and improve health outcomes. Eligible clients can transfer into regular home delivery if they are eligible and funding exists. Meals are cooked in a commercial kitchen, frozen and delivered weekly. Meals meet the guidelines of the American Heart Association and the American Diabetes Association.  Also has special meals to provide for dietary restrictions (please see below). Meal Options: -  Healthy Standard - this is our regular meal category, but it is also appropriate for anyone with diabetes or heart disease. -  Easy Digestion - this category is designed to meet the needs of those struggling with ongoing diarrhea, GERD, or gastroparesis. -  Dialysis Care - this category meets the specialized needs of our clients on kidney dialysis. -  No Gluten/No Dairy - these meals are the best choice for those with gluten intolerance, celiac disease, or lactose intolerance. - No Pork/No Beef - if you prefer to avoid beef or pork but enjoy chicken and fish, this may be a good category for you. -  Vegetarian - these meals contain NO meat, fish, or poultry (but are not vegan).  For clients who struggle with chewing or swallowing, any of the above meal categories can be made into a soft texture (very finely chopped).

Nutritious delivered meals to home-bound seniors (60 years of age or older). Frozen meals delivered in the rural areas and on weekends.

Provides hot meals for seniors 60 years and older; a donation of $4.00 is requested from those over 60 and those under 60 must pay full price of meal (currently $7.00).Those under 60 who volunteer at the meal site are treated as seniors. Home delivered meals are delivered to a senior's home when attendance at a meal site is not practical and home participants are generally homebound. Often HD meals are sent out after a hospital stay or when the spouse that usually prepares the meals becomes ill or dies.  Frozen meals are available to those who need them on other days or who live too far from the meal sites.

Home delivered meals for homebound senior citizens or disabled.

Provides a range of free food and nutrition services for low-income people living with HIV/AIDS or other chronic illnesses or disabilities that have caused them to be homebound. The program delivers prepared frozen meals and/or groceries to homebound clients.  Special diets are accommodated.  Meals are packaged in a microwave safe container and delivered frozen to the client for easy re-heating.  Grocery bags include fresh produce, proteins and shelf-stable items.  

Provides a congregate hot meal program in a group setting. Many meals feature fresh organic produce grown locally.  Support services may include transportation, nutrition education, counseling and recreational activities. Sponsored by Seattle/King County Nutrition Project of Sound Generations.  Pet Food Delivered 2nd M, pick up by end of that week Service is sponsored through the Humane Society of Bellevue. Meals on Wheels available, delivered every other week and recipients can order up to 2 meals per person per day in the household.

Meals on Wheels, a program of Homage Senior Services, offers frozen, nutritious meals for homebound older adults. The meals are nutritionally compliant with the Washington State Senior Nutrition Program Guidelines. Frozen meals are delivered weekly according to a predetermined schedule. The delivery day will remain the same, but the delivery time may vary from week to week. The Meals on Wheels program also provides in-home nutrition education and counseling and community outreach for clients as needed.

Delivers nutritious lunches to homebound older adults. Menus are designed to provide at least one-third of the daily nutrients required for older adults. Each meal includes a salad, entrée, starch, vegetable, bread, dessert, and milk. Provides a DASH diet for those who require diabetic, soft, low cholesterol, or low sodium meals. Vegetarian meals are also available.

Provides a congregate hot meal program and supportive services for older adults. Serves meals in welcoming group settings. Dining room holds 200 people. Support services may include nutrition education, counseling, and recreational activities. Lunch program is sponsored by Sound Generations.

Shipley Center, the senior center in Sequim, WA, Provides educational, social, and recreational activities, classes, and services, especially for those ages 50 and up. Also provides meaningful volunteer opportunities and fun day trips to area events and some overnight trips. The mission of Shipley Center is to enrich the lives of adults through social, health and fitness activities, trips, educational classes, low-income housing opportunities, and referrals to community resources. Well-balanced and nutritious meals are delivered to adults 60 years and older in Kitsap County who are homebound due to illness or disability and are unable to prepare meals for themselves. Referrals are accepted from individuals, family members, friends, physicians, healthcare organizations and social service/community agencies. Meals are provided on a donation-only basis and participants are asked to contribute as able.

Provides balanced nutritional meals and social contact for elderly and homebound individuals having a difficult time getting a balanced meal. Also provides farmers market vouchers for qualified low-income seniors.

Provides up to one meal per day may, either fresh or frozen depending on distance from serving site. All weekend and holiday meals are frozen. Meals meet one-third of the Department of Agriculture's Recommended Daily Allowance. They are low in sodium and special dietary needs may be accommodated. Participants choose how many meals they would like to receive each week and can cancel the service at any time. Those who do not meet the program requirements may still receive home-delivered meals by paying the full price of each delivered meal. This cost is inclusive of delivery as well as a loaf of bread and a half-gallon of milk each week.
