Provides one-time emergency assistance funds for undocumented immigrants in Benton-Franklin Counties who are dealing with emergencies, like severe illness, loss of a job, accidents, etc., and because of their legal status, do not qualify for other state or federal programs. If applicant is approved, a check in the amount of $250-$400 will be mailed.

Services may include: utility assistance, rental/mortgage assistance, application fee/background checks for housing or pre-employment, up to 1 week in a motel for homeless veterans, bus passes, food vouchers, burial expenses (up to $1,000), necessary safety equipment required by employer to gain employment, dental assistance (up to $2,000), and childcare assistance.

The Chelan County Veteran's Assistance Fund is designed to help veterans with temporary emergency financial assistance. This may include rent assistance, fuel assistance, burial expense (veterans only), and more. The funds are available for veterans and their families; however the veteran needs to be the one to apply.

Provides emergency assistance with food, rent and utilities to qualified, low-income veterans and family members. Funding for rental and utility assistance is typically available at the beginning of the month. Limited assistance with medical/dental and other miscellaneous services is also available on an emergency need basis. Helps a veteran with their prescriptions once a year. Also provides burial assistance for a veteran, their spouse, or a dependent child under the age of 18. Service Officers available by appointment to help veterans submit disability/benefit claims. Help is provided once a year for two years, then the veteran has to wait a year before they can get help again (ex: a veteran got help in 2020 and 2021, had to wait out 2022 then could get help again in 2023).

Helps military service members and their families who run into unexpected financial difficulties as a result of deployment or other hardships directly related to military service.   Assists with basic life needs and unanticipated financial needs such as:   -  Mortgage and rent -  Car payment -  Home and auto repairs -  Insurance   -  Utilities -  Food -  Clothing.    The financial assistance is in the form of up to $1,500 in grants that do not need to be repaid.   All grants are paid directly to the "creditor" (such as the electric company), and not to the individual.   Each case is reviewed individually and acceptance determined by a committee.   Applicants can receive funds only once every 18 months, and only twice total.   Second requests for assistance must be caused by a new situation and deployment.

Helps Whatcom County veterans and their families access local, state, and federal benefits and services. Links veterans to health care, mental health care, social services, employment services and more. May provide temporary financial assistance for basic needs like rent, mortgage, or utility payments.

On-site community resources (Utilities assistance, gas vouchers, etc). Rental/mortgage assistance may be available. Call in advance to check on funding and to schedule an appointment. Offered in Spanish when Spanish-speaking staff are present.

Grant money is paid directly to the person owed the debt such as a landlord or utility company whenever possible. Examples of small grants include food, utilities, housing, clothing, health expenses, assistance with child care, vehicle repairs & other routine household expenses, home & vehicle adaption, funeral expenses, adaptive equipment, moving assistance, travel, etc.

Provides interest-free loans or grants to help with emergency needs such as: emergency transportation; funeral expenses; medical/dental bills; food/rent/utilities; disaster relief assistance; child care expenses; essential vehicle repairs; and personal needs when pay is delayed.

Washington State law and the Kitsap County code have established the Veterans Assistance Fund as a steady source of tax dollars to be utilized for the needs of indigent veterans and their families.  A portion of property tax collected in Kitsap County is earmarked for the VAF.  The overall goal is to assist all veterans-in-the-need back into mainstream society by ensuring they understand all the programs available to them.  Temporary emergency assistance is available for:   Rental and mortgage assistance   Energy or utilities assistance   Food assistance   Transportation assistance   Medical and prescription coverage   Burial or cremation assistance   Auto repair   Appliance repair   Clothing

Assists indigent veterans in need of urgent assistance. Types of assistance that may be available: - Utilities assistance to prevent shut-off. - Food and necessary items for hygiene and health - Rent or Mortgage assistance - Burial assistance - Catastrophic Emergencies as determined on an individual basis Assists with VA Claims for disability, health, and burial benefits, including payment to Veterans who got sick or injured while serving in the military and to Veterans whose service made an existing condition worse.

Provides financial assistance to North Pacific County cancer patients.  Assistance includes help with utility bills, rent/mortgage payments, prescription drugs, gas money for medical appointments, food, and other needs.

Provides critical financial assistance for military families. Examples of financial assistance include: -  Car repair -  Essential home items -  Rent or mortgage -  Utilities -  Dental   -  Food   -  Moving -  Emergency travel & transportation   -  Eyeglasses   Must be able to show that financial resources are insufficient to meet current expenses, and that those expenses are already due or past due.   Can provide only emergency food assistance and eyeglasses to individuals in the general eligibility group.
