Provides one-time emergency assistance funds for undocumented immigrants in Benton-Franklin Counties who are dealing with emergencies, like severe illness, loss of a job, accidents, etc., and because of their legal status, do not qualify for other state or federal programs. If applicant is approved, a check in the amount of $250-$400 will be mailed.

A broad continuum of housing programs through the housing resource center which provide rental assistance and counseling to at-risk or homeless families seeking permanent, stable housing.

Provides Veterans with rent assistance, rental deposit assistance, move-in assistance, mortgage assistance, utility assistance, food vouchers, hygiene products, cleaning supplies, bus passes or gas vouchers, prescription drug expenses, clothing or tools for work, car repair, storage unit assistance, communication assistance, homeless services, emergency dental costs, and burial/cremation costs. Individual types of assistance have separate requirements and limits.

Provides critical financial assistance for military families. Examples of financial assistance include: -  Car repair -  Essential home items -  Rent or mortgage -  Utilities -  Dental   -  Food   -  Moving -  Emergency travel & transportation   -  Eyeglasses   Must be able to show that financial resources are insufficient to meet current expenses, and that those expenses are already due or past due.   Can provide only emergency food assistance and eyeglasses to individuals in the general eligibility group.

This program provides rental, mortgage and utility assistance to individuals with HIV/AIDS. Case management services and supportive services are available through the HIV/AIDS Care Consortium.

Helps military service members and their families who run into unexpected financial difficulties as a result of deployment or other hardships directly related to military service.   Assists with basic life needs and unanticipated financial needs such as:   -  Mortgage and rent -  Car payment -  Home and auto repairs -  Insurance   -  Utilities -  Food -  Clothing.    The financial assistance is in the form of up to $1,500 in grants that do not need to be repaid.   All grants are paid directly to the "creditor" (such as the electric company), and not to the individual.   Each case is reviewed individually and acceptance determined by a committee.   Applicants can receive funds only once every 18 months, and only twice total.   Second requests for assistance must be caused by a new situation and deployment.

Grant money is paid directly to the person owed the debt such as a landlord or utility company whenever possible. Examples of small grants include food, utilities, housing, clothing, health expenses, assistance with child care, vehicle repairs & other routine household expenses, home & vehicle adaption, funeral expenses, adaptive equipment, moving assistance, travel, etc.

Washington State law and the Kitsap County code have established the Veterans Assistance Fund as a steady source of tax dollars to be utilized for the needs of indigent veterans and their families.  A portion of property tax collected in Kitsap County is earmarked for the VAF.  The overall goal is to assist all veterans-in-the-need back into mainstream society by ensuring they understand all the programs available to them.  Temporary emergency assistance is available for:   Rental and mortgage assistance   Energy or utilities assistance   Food assistance   Transportation assistance   Medical and prescription coverage   Burial or cremation assistance   Auto repair   Appliance repair   Clothing

Provides financial assistance to North Pacific County cancer patients.  Assistance includes help with utility bills, rent/mortgage payments, prescription drugs, gas money for medical appointments, food, and other needs.

Provides interest-free loans or grants to help with emergency needs such as: emergency transportation; funeral expenses; medical/dental bills; food/rent/utilities; disaster relief assistance; child care expenses; essential vehicle repairs; and personal needs when pay is delayed.

Assist households with the challenges of buying and keeping a home. Offers pre-purchase counseling and education and a down payment assistance loan program.

On-site community resources (Utilities assistance, gas vouchers, etc). Rental/mortgage assistance may be available. Call in advance to check on funding and to schedule an appointment. Offered in Spanish when Spanish-speaking staff are present.

The Chelan County Veteran's Assistance Fund is designed to help veterans with temporary emergency financial assistance. This may include rent assistance, fuel assistance, burial expense (veterans only), and more. The funds are available for veterans and their families; however the veteran needs to be the one to apply.

Provides comprehensive rental and ownership housing counseling services, certified by the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). Counseling services address topics of delinquency and landlord/tenant mediation; and financial planning and pre-purchase. Also provides general information about HUD-subsidized programs, insurance and fair housing. Additionally, offers a foreclosure prevention program that combines mortgage, reverse mortgage and pre-foreclosure counseling, stabilization loans and repayment plans, to help low-income families in danger of losing their homes. Rather than being forced into a sale by the mortgage holder and thus forfeiting their equity, program offers borrowers two alternative options: avoiding default by working through a repayment plan to stay in their home, or gaining enough time to sell their homes on their own terms. Provides foreclosure mediation services as part of the Foreclosure Fairness Program.

We provide down payment financing with favorable terms to qualified buyers, providing our homeowners with the ability to select a home from our floor plans which meets their needs. Our down payment assistance ensures our homeowners will not pay monthly mortgage insurance, keeping payments more affordable.
