Assists justice impacted students with the college enrollment process at Clover Park Technical College. Includes assistance with applications, financial aid information, student support services and more.
Assists justice impacted students with the college enrollment process. This includes directing students to both online and paper admissions and registration forms and guiding students through the college entry process. Connects students to subject matter expert staff for assistance as needed. Identifies possible financial aid and funding resources for educational expenses such as tuition, books, toolkits, etc.
Navigators also ensure students are aware of available resources on campus that may be available for support such as free tutoring, free bus passes, computer lab access, food and hygiene pantry information, affinity groups, student activities and events, and more.
Connects students with various community resources to aid in achieving their reentry, education, and career goals.

Offers a course to prepare for entry-level employment in the tech industry as helpdesk technicians or IT technicians. Introduces core computer functions, how to manage and maintain a laptop/desktop, and an introduction to the concepts around system/ software applications.

7-week hybrid course offered quarterly at Goodwill's Tacoma campus, hybrid course meets 2 days in-person and 2 days online.

High School+

I-Best

Road to Independence Employment offered at Puget Sound Educational Service District
Provides training and then employment for those who wish to become a school bus drivers (CDL class B).
Provides training and then employment for those who wish to become a school bus drivers (CDL class B).
Offers paid internships, Sub Driver, and sub laborers, and potentially full, union employment.
Drivers work with disabled and low-income individuals that need transportation to and from work.
Also provides school bus transportation, children are 3-5-year-olds that includes young early learning and head start children. Usually, small groups of children at the same time.
Training for 8 weeks, then asked to get a CDL permit.
Things to be aware of:
- Are you willing to work with individuals with disabilities?
- All applicants must have reliable transportation PSESD base is in Auburn
- It is within an educational district, so you only get paid once a month
- After 6 weeks the 1st check pays off on the 15th of every month
- Fingerprints and drug tests are continuous and random, including checking for marijuana

- up to 60 hours per month.
Sub Laborer
- can work more than 60 hours per month.
- after training and improvement, workers could be asked to join the union and go under contract (after proving dependability and knowledge).
Memorization is key - If unable to memorize the 16 pages of training word for word, if this will be an issue, please do not apply.
Motivation is key - Motivated individuals can complete training, get licensed, and start driving
for PSESD - Puget Sound Educational Service district in as little as two months but it all depends on the individual's motivation to study for the test.

Ten-week 75-hour certification and training program offers up to 36 hours per week of in-class instruction, in person skills classes and homework. Additional classes: mental health, dementia, Advanced skill building, digital literacy, job readiness, CPR, First Aid, Food Handlers permit. Upon successful completion, the ReWA HCA Certified instructor signs off on certification. Students receive certificates for all of the above classes that prepare them to complete the state exam and find employment.
Participants may also receive assistance with any barrier removal to completing class, passing the state exam, job interviews and job placement follow up as well as career counseling and job advancement strategies.
