Advocates are available to help connect individuals to community resources. Offers limited financial assistance in obtaining ID, storage fees, utility and phone bills, and rental applications. Also, provides outdoor gear when available. No overnight shelter or rental assistance.

Provides a congregate hot meal program in a group setting. Many meals feature fresh organic produce grown locally.  Support services may include transportation, nutrition education, counseling and recreational activities. Sponsored by Seattle/King County Nutrition Project of Sound Generations.  Pet Food Delivered 2nd M, pick up by end of that week Service is sponsored through the Humane Society of Bellevue. Meals on Wheels available, delivered every other week and recipients can order up to 2 meals per person per day in the household.

Coordinates community donations to provide a "Pet Food Bank" to help animal owners who may be struggling to feed their animals. We accept donations, including gift cards and unopened bags or cans of food for dogs, cats, birds, and more.

Offers free food access to shoppers through grocery-store style Food Markets where enrolled shoppers may visit twice per month to receive fresh, frozen and shelf-stable foods.

Offers no-cost veterinary care to people in Washington State that are unhoused or low-income. Services include the following: - General care including preventive, wellness checks, vaccinations, flea treatment, ear treatments, wound care, medication management and limited diagnostic testing - Surgery: those needing surgery will be put on a waitlist and scheduled for one of the procedure days. - Medication refills Does NOT provide emergency services.

Provides a month's supply of pet food for low income Pierce County and Federal Way residents. Pet owners must apply through the Humane Society by bringing photo identification and proof of spay/neuter for all pets (not required until second visit to pantry).

Also operates a mobile food bank that travels to clients who: -  Have special medical needs -  Are of advanced age -  Have multi pre-school aged children in the home -  Are homebound for other reasons and there is no one else in the household who can pick up the food

Operates a food pantry that provides food, emergency food, pet food, household and personal items for people of Edmonds and the surrounding area. Must place order ahead of time, either online or on site. Limited home delivery available.

JFS has been providing free food to our community for close to 100 years.
