Utility Hardship Program provides one-time assistance when a household is going through a hardship like a loss of job, divorce, foreclosure, major illness, etc. Life-Line Program is an on-going discount rate for seniors and those with disabilities.

Senior Citizen Rate Credits are based on billings made between January 1 and April 30 of the previous year. If you’re approved for Senior Citizen Rate Credits, a credit equal to 75 percent of the previous year’s winter bills (not to exceed $500 annually; excludes any additional meters) will be applied to your account balance.

Customers accepted into this program pay a maximum monthly amount based on income and, in some cases, electricity use. It may exempt participants from paying security deposits and late charges. Clients in this program will have no disconnection of service as long as monthly payments are made. After a year of payments on this program, any old balances will be removed (if a payment is missed clients are responsible for full balance).
