This service is available upon request and proof of eligibility to residential customers who are seniors (65+ years) OR who have been designated as disabled veterans by the VA and possess a VA disability rating letter or VA benefits summary letter.

Helps low-income families with heating costs, as funding is available to defray the cost of a household's primary heat source, including: electricity, oil, propane, firewood, pellets, or kerosene. Home may be owned or rented. Some funds are also available for owner-occupied residences in need of repair to heat system, or other emergency repairs as approved.

Provides a $16 discount off the cost to dispose of garbage and/or each type of recyclable material to those currently enrolled in ProviderOne, EBT or Orca Lift.

Provides various utility assistance programs for low-income families, seniors, and disabled individuals. Offers utility shut-off prevention for electric or natural gas, for those with a shut-off notice. Offers the Low Income Home Energy Assistance program (LIHEAP). Provides rate reduction for Pacific Power customers who heat with electricity. Provides a 20% discount for low-income senior citizens and low-income disabled citizens who live in the cities of Walla Walla or College Place.

Offers a 50% utility discount to low-income households for water and sewer bills as well as a 50% reduction in the dump closure rate.

Offers a water and sewer discount for older adults and customers with disabilities. Income restrictions also apply.   Approved customers will receive a 50% reduction in their water and/or sewer bi-monthly base rate on their billing cycle.

Provides deferral and/or payment plan options for qualified households. Also offers a discount rate on the Capacity Charge for select newer low-income housing construction units.

Provides ongoing help with monthly energy bills. Depending on your household income and household size, residential customers can save 5% to 45% a month on their bills. Amount of discount is based on several factors: - Household’s income - Number of people in household - County of residence Eligible applicants will be placed in one of six discount tiers. Also provides help for paying existing electric or gas bills through the Home Energy Lifeline Program (HELP). Those who qualify may receive up to $1000 in credit to their account.

Provides eligible low income residents a 10% discount on their monthly sewer rate through the Lake Stevens Sewer District Rate Reduction Program.

Offers a rebate on utility taxes for low-income older adults and customers who are disabled who paid Covington taxes for gas, electric, telephone, garbage, cell phone and cable.

Provides two programs that help with City of Tumwater utility services. Utility Hardship Program provides one-time assistance when a household is going through a hardship like a loss of job, divorce, foreclosure, major illness, etc. Life-Line Program is an on-going discount rate for seniors and those with disabilities.

Offers a 50% discount on residents' Redmond water, sewer, wastewater and storm drain bills for older adults or people with disabilities.

Provides a special rebate for electric service. Assistance is usually a 15-40% reduction of a customer's bill based on their household size and income.

Offers a discount to eligible seniors and disabled individuals to help reduce the cost of the residents utility bill.

Offers discounted water and sewer service for older adults and customers with disabilities. Provides service to residents located in the West Hill area of unincorporated King County.

Offers a 30% utility reduction rate to eligible low-income older adults and those with disabilities who receive disability payments from SSA, SSI, SSDI or Veteran's Administration. The discount does not apply to Metro, actual water consumption, street lighting, surcharges, miscellaneous fees or late charges. The rate reduction will take effect the billing cycle following application approval. There are no adjustments for prior months.    Billing cycle is every two months.

Offers a discount on water and sewer bill to low income senior citizens 62 and older or low income permanent disabled residents.  Resident must submit application and show proof of income and proof of permanent disability.  The applicant must reside in residence and be named on billing statement or show proof of a lease agreement. Discount also applies to renters who have an individual water meter.
