Provides a monthly TBI support group for anyone with any type of TBI, including acquired brain injuries from strokes, brain bleeds, etc., as well as those who had head trauma. Offers library information, educational classes, as well as connections to outside resources, like the Brian Injury Alliance of WA.

Provides various support groups and services in Yakima County. - Women Supporting Women: Provides a support group for all women who are living with cancer, whether newly diagnosed, currently in treatment, or completed cancer surgery and treatment. - Young Women's CANcer Support: Provides group support in the evening for women juggling a cancer diagnosis, treatment, family, work and other demands placed on this unique group of survivors. - Bereavement Support Group: Weekly support group open to anyone who has suffered a loss for any reason.  The members try to collectively help each other through the various stages of grieving and grow through the loss. - Cancer Peer Mentors (Women): Cancer survivors provide support and hope to newly diagnosed women.  Peer Mentors have completed a comprehensive educational program and are available for communication and support. - Crisis Care and Counseling: Offers assistance through staff and volunteers for crisis needs. Helps individuals who are going through a crisis situation by listening, assessing their needs, connecting them to other resources, and providing follow-up support. - Empowerment through Pain - Tools, support & guidance in understanding and living well with chronic pain. - Finding Joy: Classes focus on a variety of philosophies and techniques of self-help to encourage the practice of looking for Joy in everyday life. - Group Grief & Loss Support for Miscarriage or Stillbirth (RTS): Little Wings provides grief and loss support for parents who have lost a child due to miscarriage or stillbirth. - Women's Empowerment Group: Provides a free support group for women experiencing depression, anxiety or just feel stuck in their life. - Trauma Support Group - The group is designed to provide support, encouragement and healing to those who have experienced traumatic events. - Lymphatic Flow Chair Exercise Classes - Cancer Survivor Nutrition - Osteopathic Manipulation: In Partnership with PNWU Scholars Program and Supervised by O.D.s, - Hands That Heal: Reflexology and other techniques to support your mind, body and spirit. - Healing Threads: Group for anyone who wants to spend time with others while working on any needlework project; no experience necessary. The group promotes healing, community service, and connecting with others to end feelings of isolation. - Navigation Services: Provides navigation services to local resources for families and individuals needing assistance—open to anyone. Offers information and referrals to local agencies. - Lending Library: Offers books, videos, audio, and periodicals to anyone seeking information on a particular illness or health topic. - Caregiver Support - Men's Cancer Support Group/Co-Ed Cancer Support Groups will return as demand increases. Community members and professionals wishing to start a group in alignment with Wellness House's mission are welcome to call. - Suicide Survivors Support Group will resume as needed. - Traumatic Brain Injury Support for Patients and Caregivers. - Spanish language support for crisis counseling, the Cancer Care Boutique, and translation services for our other supports.

Provides support group for spouses and partners of those with dementia. Meetings are held in Mercer Island and Bellevue.  

Serves the whole family, because just one member’s HIV status affects the whole family. Offers community-building events including two family camp weekends per year and quarterly picnics and parties. Mentors spend time with children, teens, and young adults twice every month. Visits or calls each family and young adult, and send innumerable notes, cards, and social media posts of affirmation and encouragement. Also has support groups for HIV-positive teens, adults, and parents of HIV-positive teens. REACH provides the community, tools, and cheerleading to claim joy, build hope, and flourish.

Provides assistance, support groups, and resources for people to learn how to adjust with hearing loss.

Island Senior Resources provides professionally facilitated, free Support Groups that meet regularly via Zoom. These are weekly traditional support group meetings, including a Parkinson’s support group, an Alzheimer’s caregiver support group, and others.

Provides support groups for caregivers, kinship care providers, seniors dealing with grief, and isolated seniors.

Coordinates a monthly neuromuscular disease support group for patients, friends and family.  

Maintains lists of cancer support groups in the King, Snohomish, Skagit, Island and Whatcom County areas.

Provides one-on-one support and information about muscular dystrophy, Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS), and related neuromuscular diseases, including clinical trials, care centers, programs, research and advocacy, summer camps, volunteer opportunities and community referrals.

Offers specialized information and referral services, resource navigation assistance, and online support groups. Provides limited financial assistance to people with mesothelioma. Also assists veterans get VA Disability Compensation for asbestos-related illnesses.

Provides various healthcare services including health evaluations, low vision support group, foot care, hearing loss consultation and yoga.

Support groups for those living with HIV are open to everyone from newly diagnosed to long-term survivors.

Supports newly diagnosed adult patients and parents of newly diagnosed children so they don't experience isolation due to their bleeding disorder.   Many recreational and social outings are organized throughout the year including an annual retreat for women in May, a men's retreat and a holiday party. Events promote socialization, networking and education among peers. Distributes a quarterly newsletter, provides educational materials such as books, videos and tapes about bleeding disorders, and offers a network for peer support.

Provides support services for people with Parkinson's and others affected by the disease. Support includes: - Care consultations for resource navigation and support options - HOPE Kits for individuals and families newly or recently diagnosed - Dance classes - Support group listings and leader training - Online programs (Mindfulness, yoga) - Educational conferences and Community Resource Days - Outreach to general neurologists and Movement Disorders Specialists

Offers ongoing support groups for health-related issues.   Currently offers a grief support group. Also offers support groups for people with cancer including breast cancer, prostate cancer and lymphedema.

Provides health care information about medical conditions, treatments, medicines, chronic conditions and Harborview Medical Center services.  Facility distributes pre-printed materials suitable for readers with a low level of literacy skills. Offers access to online medical information resources, interactive tutorials and staff-assisted searches. Publishes information on current classes and support groups on UW Medicine website.

Local support groups offer patient-centered, and community-based educational opportunities to persons with chronic lung disease (especially COPD, but also asthma, idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis, lung cancer and other chronic lung diseases) and their families, friends and support persons. Volunteers facilitate all support groups and work with a Lung Association staff member to provide the service. *Callers should view the website for locations and meeting times.

Offers a support group once a month (excluding Sept and July) at Aging & Adult Care of Central Washington's meeting room. Offers a social gathering in September and a holiday gathering in December.

Offers ongoing support and meetings for people with developmental disabilities at about 30 chapters statewide.   Members have an opportunity to work together to develop group projects, programs and special events. Provides a supportive environment to share experiences and learn to solve problems.   Offers educational materials on such topics as self-determination, inclusion, goal setting, assertiveness, renting and voter education.

Offers a safe, creative, and supervised place for people with disabilities to find social connection, life enrichment, and community integration. Provides a place for life-long education, interesting classes, keep minds active, and get excited about education again. Offers a bridge for people who want to be a part of our community, not just watch from the sidelines. Columbia Industries will provide safe transportation and assistance for outings and activities in the local area.

Provides group and individual classes to persons with diabetes and their families.  Classes focus on how to live a full, productive life with the disease. See website or call for specific classes, fees, dates, and times.  

Offers a variety of specialized support groups for individuals with cancer and their caregivers.   Support groups at Swedish are free of charge and are open to anyone in the community even if they are receiving treatment at a different hospital.

Works to improve the lives of blind people in local communities. Local chapters in Clallam County, Clark County, and the greater Seattle area meet regularly along with a virtual chapter. Offers a group for older adults and one for parents of blind children. Groups provide education, advocacy and support to their members.
