Offers library information, educational classes, as well as connections to outside resources, like the Brian Injury Alliance of WA.

Offers HIV/AIDS and sexually transmitted disease prevention education for Latino gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender individuals.   Distributes free condoms and lubricants.   Medical Case Management provides support groups and services for people living with HIV.

Provides various healthcare services including health evaluations, low vision support group, foot care, hearing loss consultation and yoga.

Sibshops is a place to meet other kids who have siblings with disabilities. Through games, crafts and fun, siblings are given the opportunity to feel as though they are the most important person of the day.  The Arc facilitates a chapter of the Sibling Support Network, called Washington State Sibling Connections. Adult sibs have bi-monthly meet-ups to connect with each other, share resources and gain information.

Provides various workshops for individuals with chronic health conditions to improve their ability to manage their health and maintain active and fulfilling lives. - Chronic Disease Self-Management Program: Supports people with different or multiple chronic health problems (e.g., heart disease, hypertension, stroke, and respiratory disease). The program is led by trained and certified peers with first-hand experience. Discusses techniques on how to deal with frustration, isolation, appropriate exercise, fatigue, pain, medication management, emotion management, and much more. - Chronic Pain Self-Management Program (CPSMP): Developed for people who have a primary/secondary diagnosis of chronic pain; which is pain that lasts longer than 3 to 6 months, or beyond the normal healing time of an injury. Examples of chronic pain conditions are chronic musculo-skeletal pain, fibromyalgia, whiplash injuries, chronic regional pain syndromes, chronic pelvic pain, post-surgical pain that lasts beyond 6 months, neuropathic pain, or neuralgias, post stroke pain, persistent headache, Crohn’s disease, irritable bowel syndrome, diabetic neuropathy, or those who experience severe muscular pain due to conditions such as multiple sclerosis. - Diabetes Education and Support: Discusses techniques to deal with the symptoms of diabetes, fatigue, pain, hyper/hypoglycemia, stress, and all of the emotional problems associated with this disease. Material has been reviewed by physicians, diabetes educators, dietitians, and other health professionals who are experts on the subject. The Port Angeles Alzheimer’s Caregiver Support Group meets once a month for caregivers, family members, and friends of those suffering from memory loss.

Offers a variety of support groups for those touched by cancer. Support groups offer a safe environment for patients, families, and friends to receive information, learn coping skills, help reduce anxiety, and share common concerns. Offers the following support groups: - Brain Tumor Support Group - this group is open to patients and caregivers seeking support, and willing to share ideas and information about surviving and thriving with brain tumors during and after treatment. - Breast Cancer Support Group - for women of any age who have been diagnosed with breast cancer. Led by a certified breast navigator, join at any time throughout your cancer journey. - Cancer Support Group - for anyone affected by cancer, patients, caregivers, family, or friends. This gathering offers advice and support for those facing a variety of cancer issues. - Kids Konnection - an educational and supportive program for children ages 7-14 who have a significant adult in their life who has been diagnosed with cancer. This is a 6-week session. - Laryngectomee Support Group - for laryngectomees, head & neck cancer patients and their families. A Speech-Language Therapist addresses concerns such as speech, swallowing and taste. - Lymphoma, Leukemia & Multiple Myeloma Support Group - supportive conversation and sharing for anyone touched by a diagnosis of lymphoma, leukemia, or multiple myeloma. This group is led by people experienced with the diseases. - Ovarian Cancer Support Group - for ovarian cancer patients and survivors meet to talk, make connections, and share experiences. - Prostate Cancer Support Group - a group for men facing prostate cancer who want to gain insight from others about their treatment decisions, experiences and regaining a healthy lifestyle after treatment. - Warrior Sisterhood - a group for active women balancing job, family and a busy life along with cancer treatments and recovery. The location varies due to planned activities or special interests of the group.

Provides direct support for Parents and Caregivers of Individuals with Complex Medical Conditions. Offers resource navigation, care coordination, and life coaching sessions designed to equip families with the right tools to manage stress, achieve life balance, and reimagine a fulfilling and happy life after their loved one’s diagnosis, and through difficult transitions.

Provides one-on-one support for newly-diagnosed breast cancer patients and their families and friends through diagnosis, treatment, and beyond. Manages a volunteer match program for patients needing additional support. Free hats, wigs, and prosthesis with bras available for chemotherapy patients with hair loss and those who have undergone a mastectomy. In-person and phone support available. Offers workshops, retreats, and support groups.

Provides health care information about medical conditions, treatments, medicines, chronic conditions and Harborview Medical Center services.  Facility distributes pre-printed materials suitable for readers with a low level of literacy skills. Offers access to online medical information resources, interactive tutorials and staff-assisted searches. Publishes information on current classes and support groups on UW Medicine website.

Provides resources and information to people newly diagnosed with Crohn's disease or ulcerative colitis. Local support groups meet in Seattle, Kirkland, Renton, Tacoma, Tri-Cities and Yakima. Coordinates peer-to-peer support opportunities. Facilitates presentations by health professionals and informal sessions for sharing information and support for people with Crohn's disease or ulcerative colitis and their families.

Coordinates a monthly neuromuscular disease support group for patients, friends and family.  

Provides classroom instruction as well as one-on-one diabetes education programs where participants learn about and discuss topics such as:   -  Meal planning -  Blood glucose monitoring devices -  Weight loss -  Treatment for high and low blood sugars -  Medication management    Also offers a nutrition clinic and diabetes support groups.

Works to improve the lives of blind people in local communities. Local chapters in Clallam County, Clark County, and the greater Seattle area meet regularly along with a virtual chapter. Offers a group for older adults and one for parents of blind children. Groups provide education, advocacy and support to their members.

Provides assistance, support groups, and resources for people to learn how to adjust with hearing loss.

Social Engagement Activities serves those living with dementia, traumatic brain injuries, and other cognitive challenges, as well as their care partners and loved ones. Free activities include: - Opening Minds through Art (OMA), - Music and Memories, - Memory Walks, and - Memory Cafés.
