Parents are encouraged to become a client (which is free) and allows access to more services. Diapers and formula are available for emergency needs only and not provided on an ongoing basis. Mother and Child is NOT a clothing closet; it is a program which has supplies to assist families but also focuses on education and support.

Examples include: - toothpaste, - shampoo, - toilet paper, - laundry detergent, - dish soap, - bus passes. ***Assistance will not be provided through gift cards, vouchers, or certificates of any kind.

Offers laundry and shower facilities for adults of all genders; no children. Provides towels and toiletries such as razors, shampoo, deodorant, toothbrushes and soap. Also offers coffee service and a hot meal. Serves as a cooling/warming center.

Provides mobile food banks that stop in several neighborhoods in the county and provides enough nutritious food to make at least three meals for three days for everyone in the household. People may visit any Nourish Pierce County Food Bank that is convenient for them; service is not dependent on zip code or residence. Clients "shop" and self-select food that meets their needs. Depending on donations, things like pet food, hygiene supplies or baby food may be available. Services is provided once a week, but if there are additional needs, no one is turned away. Does not provide assistance with rent or utility bills.

Operates a no-cost thrift store with household goods, clothing, children's and baby items, as well as toiletries. Each shopper can fill one bag plus five extra items that do not fit in a bag.

Operates a clothing bank which provides free clothing and shoes for infants, children and adults. Also has hygiene products, bags and backpacks, and bedding available depending on donations.

Oasis Centers are "full service" youth centers serving street and homeless youth. The youth centers provide services such as shower, laundry, food, clothes and hygiene products, job-training opportunities, tutoring, mentoring, activities, email and mail service.  Youth are encouraged to commit themselves to case management so as to help them deliberately with making changes in their lives.

Distributes clothing (Seasonal, Winter), small household items.   Clients may receive assistance once every 30 days for clothing and once every six months for other household items.   Number of items received is limited to reasonable household needs, at the discretion of St. Francis House staff.   Clothing provided is for men, women and children. Availability of items varies depending on donation levels.

Several churches in the Wenatchee and Upper Valley operate Little Free Pantries, which distribute free non-perishable food and hygiene items. Some pantries may also provide cleaning supplies, diapers, kitchenware, and toiletries.

Provides wraparound financial support to adults who are deemed incapacitated by DSHS and have no income or are enrolled in ABD. May assist with rent, move-in, utilities, hygiene supplies and transportation costs.  Provides the following for individuals approved by DSHS:  Transportation Assistance (gas card or bus pass)  Essential Needs (hygienic and cleaning supplies once per month)  Ongoing Rent/Utility Assistance (most housing situations qualify)  Limited Rental/Utility Assistance (as funds are available)  Limited Move in Cost Assistance (as funds are available)  Housing Search Assistance for those experiencing homelessness  Employment Counseling   Payments are processed to landlords and/or utility companies on behalf of program participants. HEN can only guarantee monthly payments 90 days at a time.
