Provides one-time emergency assistance funds for undocumented immigrants in Benton-Franklin Counties who are dealing with emergencies, like severe illness, loss of a job, accidents, etc., and because of their legal status, do not qualify for other state or federal programs. If applicant is approved, a check in the amount of $250-$400 will be mailed.

Callers are referred to the St. Vincent de Paul volunteers in their area who may do a home visit to determine need.  Financial services are provided through a vouchering system.  Not all services are offered in all areas.

The primary goal of this service is to assist eligible clients to covered Medicaid services with vouchers for gasoline or mileage reimbursement if they have their own vehicle. For clients that live near a bus stop, tickets/tokens or passes may be available. If that is not possible, transportation is arranged using contracted providers including volunteer drivers, nonprofit providers, cabulances, and taxi companies. Transportation must be scheduled in advance; local trips require two working days' notice, for long distance trips, five working days' notice is requested. Counties served are: Benton, Chelan, Columbia, Douglas, Franklin, Kittitas, Okanogan, Walla Walla, and Yakima. For gas vouchers or reimbursement of fuel, drivers must provide copies of a valid license, signed vehicle registration, and valid vehicle insurance. These must be valid for date of Medicaid covered doctor appointment.

Provides several modes of transportation to Medicaid eligible medical appointments. This must be a clients last source of transportation. Two full business days' notice is required, and requests can be made up to one month in advance.

Also partners with other organizations in the community. Serves the Toledo, Winlock, Vader, Napavine, Morton and Mossyrock areas of Lewis County. Conference volunteers are from the local church, but services are not provided at the church.

Provides outreach to veterans. Authorized items payable by Snohomish County Vouchers are food and sundries, utilities, medical, transportation (bus), vehicle gas. Other items payable at the discretion of service officer.

(ONLY Benton City, Richland, and West Richland) Provides financial assistance for utilities, rent, medication expenses, food/household goods, furniture (as available), some educational expenses, and gas vouchers. People in need of clothing may be referred to the St Vincent de Paul Food Bank in Pasco.

Assists cancer patients with a wide range of services for clients, such as transportation, gas and grocery vouchers, dietary & health education, hats & head coverings, reading materials, and yard work among other things.

Provides limited help with basic needs such as transportation, clothing, and hygiene items if the need is emergent and other resources have been exhausted.  

Emergency assistance is geared towards sustainable positive outcomes for eligible veterans. Service officers are knowledgeable, skilled and have relationships with area partners who together with their services will often be successful in forming comprehensive and lasting solutions for clients.

Provides bedding, sleeping bags, and no-cook food. Also provides referrals to other agencies in the area who have a potential to assist with other needs. Does not help with rent. May be able to provide gas cards for work commute or doctor's appointments depending on funding. ID required. May sometimes be able to help with a utility (water, sewage, garbage, or electric) bill once a calendar year thru a partnership with Salvation Army. ID and shut off notice required. May be able to fill a propane can once a calendar year. Own propane can required.
