Financial support is in the form of: - rental and utility assistance, - funds for purchases of bedding, furniture, - clothing, - food, - car repairs, - gas/bus vouchers and - medications for the child. Provides case management, support and referral services for unpaid family caregivers of African-American adults. Caregiver support services may include:   -  Individualized comprehensive needs assessments and develop care plans -  In-home or office visits within King county -  Referrals to support groups, counseling and other resources -  Limited respite for the caregiver

The Kinship Care Program assists relatives acting as parents or guardians of minor children by providing information, referrals to support groups, counseling and potential financial assistance for basic needs such as school supplies, rent/utilities, and tutoring.

Provides several services to Developmental Disabilities Administration (DDA) clients, including Staff and Family Consultation and Respite care for DDA clients. Other services include: Specialized Habilitation Helps individuals create healthy relationships, adapt to challenges, and improve overall quality-of-life. Services offer resources for community integration including: - Self-empowerment. - Safety awareness and self-advocacy. - Interpersonal skills and effective communication. - Coping strategies regarding typical life challenges. - Learning how to manage daily tasks to gain adaptive skills. Community Engagement Services are designed to develop creative, flexible and supportive community resources and relationships to connect individuals to resources in their community, and supports them to participate, engage, and integrate into the community. A community guide or community engagement provider will: - Meet with you to discuss goals stated in the Person-Centered service plan and help you develop specific goals related to engaging with the community. - Develop strategies with you to connect with community resources, based on your interests and needs. - Help you develop healthy relationships with local community members. - Support you with participating community activities within you budget. Peer mentoring Offers a form of mentorship that takes place between a person who is living through the experiences of having a developmental disability or a family member of a person who has a developmental disability (peer mentor) and a person who is new to the experience (peer mentee). These services help individuals or family members through: - Mentoring. - Sharing personal experiences to provide support. - Sharing information about community resources. - Exploring other supports. Specialized Goods and Services Provides participants and their families with specialized supports to achieve stabilization in their home and community and may include: - Vehicle modifications or adaptations required to fit the needs of the participant to engage with their community. - Therapeutic equipment and supplies necessary to implement a behavioral support plan or other therapeutic plan including sensory integration or communication therapy plan. ​ - Nonrestrictive clothing adaptive to the participant's individual needs and related to his/her disability. - Purchasing or leasing, and customizing or adapting assistive technology to meet the functional needs of a child with a disability. ​ ​

Supports unpaid caregivers of older adults or an adult with a disability. May provide FREE additional support through group training, seminars, support groups, limited transportation, and medical equipment.

Provides relief for eligible families or other unpaid caregivers of disabled adults (ages 18 and over). Respite services are provided in-home (from companionship to skilled care), in adult day centers, and out-of-home residential care.

Case management and support services to unpaid family and other unpaid caregivers who provide regular care for a functionally disabled adult. These services allows for at-home care to continue, while family caregivers are provided with respite opportunities.

Provides information and assistance about supports and services for unpaid caregivers of elderly and/or disabled adults age 18 and over. In-person supportive consultation, help with care planning, and educational workshops are also available. The Family Caregiver Support Program also provides TCARE Family Caregiver Surveys, an assessment evaluating the challenges, stresses, and satisfaction of each caregiver's experience, and recommends service options that best match each caregiver's situation.

Provides community information and referral for people with disabilities, their family members, friends and service providers working with the disability community.

Offers a variety of information, materials, and resources for caregivers supporting family members and other loved ones. Information includes preparing to care for a family member, navigating financial issues, transportation resources, respite and support for caregivers, as well as listings of local services in the area.

Provides a welcoming small-group environment where people with Alzheimer's, stroke survivors and those with other cognitive impairments participate in guided conversation, art, music, exercise, games and other activities. The interaction moves people from isolation to engagement and helps them remain living in their own home longer.    Caregivers: Provides an affordable respite care option as well as one-on-one support, resources and referrals to family caregivers.

Program provides resources and support to unpaid family caregiver so they can continue to provide quality care for as long as possible. Services are available to any unpaid caregiver over the age of 18 that is providing care for a family member over the age of 18.

Social worker partners with older adults to address their concerns and to help them through challenging life transitions. Assists with - Senior Housing - Caregiver Support - Memory Loss Resources - Mental Health Referrals and Support - Home Care Options - Medicare/Medicaid - Legal Referrals - Emergency Assistance - Long-term Care Planning

Provides training for home caregivers to equip them to deliver high-quality care and support to older adults and people with disabilities. Outlines training needed by provider type. Coordinates a peer mentor program where caregivers going through basic training can get guidance and support from experienced caregivers.

Provides support services to adult caregivers including:  -  Referral to essential community resources -  Support groups and individual counseling for caregivers -  Practical training in effective care-giving -  Limited respite care  - Offers services in English and Russian.

Supports unpaid caregivers of older adults or an adult with a disability. May provide FREE additional support through group training, seminars, support groups, limited transportation, and medical equipment.

The Family Caregiver Support Program provides assistance to unpaid caregivers with resources and information enabling them to continue at-home care. Services are free or low cost and may include- assistance and information on accessing services; caregiver support groups and counseling; caregiver training and education; and respite care.

Provides information about exercise classes for people with Parkinson disease as well as educational classes on managing Parkinson disease and classes for caregivers. Most classes are virtual.

Classes, workshops, and conferences are offered multiple times throughout the year for any unpaid caregivers who are caring for a family member or friend. Classes and events include Powerful Tool for Caregivers, Caring for Your Loved One at Home, and caregiver workshops. Respite may be available with early registration.

Medicaid program provides assistance, case management, and assessment to seniors and adults with disabilities to access specific long term care plans including in-home services, adult family homes, adult day centers, assisted living, nursing home placements, and respite care programs for family members, guardians and caregivers of dependent adults.

Provides education, peer support, and resources to family caregivers.
